Gutsy
Why do I say gutsy? To redo a son by such an iconic Artist is crazy gutsy. Now I never heard the original but I will say this: The recording quality on this tune is great. Instrumentation is spot on. The lead guitar is really sweet. Arrangement is open and the mix is crystal clear. The BGV's sit right where they should. Actually, you can hear every single instrument the way it should be heard. No small task as there is alot going on here musically. I am a violin guy so the fiddle be working on this one all day long. Song is uptempo and is a feel good song. And I am much too young to feel this damn old is something I can relate to. Great job on this tune and look forward to great new tunes from you

Smooth and enjoyable!
It takes nerve, courage and great talent to do a cover of a Garth Brooks song. This rendition and singer has all if the above. The recording is professional and the musicians playing are too. Larry's voice is both laidback and has perfect tremolis at the right places. Some of the words are cut a bit short, but it does not take away from the entirity of the overall impression. Great job!

Great guitar picking and a very nice fiddle arrangement! Strong, Good Clear Vocals and Backup very well mixed. Just what a great Traditional Country Song should be. Catchy, Easy Listening and the tune Flows very well. I was lucky to get Byron Berline and Brantley Kearns, great fiddle players, to record my country Album "Johnny O And Friends" Please have a listen on UTube for my entire Album and Videos. Keep up the great work and the excellent recording quality! All the Best! Johnny O

Still one Ace left in the hole
Garth Brooks is what I call a modern day country legend. He was the first in what was the new wave of country superstars that cam out of the 1980's and afterward. I'll tell you the truth, I don't know many of his songs or George Strait's songs either, but I know way more of Garth's hits than George's. Larry takes this classic song with it's timeless message of lost youth and the pain that accompanies it and makes it all his own. The simple musical arrangement coupled with his lonesome vocal treatment paints the tableau of a man who is aged beyond his years and feeling the pressure from the procession of the younger generation nippin at his heels. Larry really puts his heart and soul into this song's vocal performance and gleans a new found deeper meaning from Garth's original lyrics. As it turns out Larry can still find one last ace in the hole in this ole Garth Brooks tune.

Great job
Larry Can you did a really great job. This is a perfect cover, but you managed to put your own style to the song. It is perfectly arranged and produced. Especially I like the acoustic guitar work - it fits very well. Also your voice is very clear, sits well in the mix and the lyric is very easy to understand. Only thing I am missing a bit are some more backing harmonies. But I am nagging at a high level.

Much Too Young
Hi Larry. Absolutely love your guitar work. Really great voice and really like the progressive addition of the instruments. For some reason, I can hear your words much clearer than Garth's. I like the inflections of your voice at various places in the song. The mixing is awesome. I can't say that there is anything that I would change; maybe except dang old instead of d__n old. lol I have to say that I like this version even better than the original. ;) Keep on keepin it country my friend. Blessings, Trev. :)

Much to Young Review
Fiddle brings you into this great song with precision and the vocals are clear and in perfect harmony. The guitar runs are clear and blends in as if the strings are doing the melody along with lyrics also, this is a great cover on a song that sta Yes up in the charts the first time around, take othe time to listen to Mr. Cain’s rendition of Much to Young and you will understand how good of a cover it is. Enjoy our mate to the south from down under , great job, In’s and bas and drums are suttle

A Good Solid Country Song
This is a solid sounding country song with a good mix sound wise. I certainly sympathise when hearing about long trips to Dalby, as I play there around once a month or so myself. Also the line 'much too young to feel this damn old' certainly touches a chord. The sound mix overall is very well balanced with nice EQ ing on all the tracks and good acoustic sounding guitar solos. A great country voice and those little bits of fiddle make the song a winner and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

I was absolutely mesmerized. Sounded somewhat like John Conlee but, a little more melodious. It was refreshing and soothing. Think your rendition was awesome. Keep it up. Look forward to hearing more.

Too Young
Here is a classic song that I love from Garth Brooks. Larry, you did a great job on this, the great guitar picking, vocals a very smooth, the drums moving it right along , the fiddle just pulls you in, like a Cowboy at a rodeo, waiting for his turn at the chute, It's tough out there, when you're on the road and it takes it's toll sooner or later. Larry, another job well done when it comes this song you have my vote. Songedge

Much Too Young
Hello N1Music Listeners, this is such a wonderful song! I loved the way you wove these lyrics into such a love lost story. It is especially poignant coming from the man's perspective which is rare to hear. The instrumental is richly embroidered with the heart strings are the best tones on the guitar that express your sadness. I refer to the chords akin to the sounds that usually only the fiddle or violin are able to produce. So I think you are a bit of a Hank Marvin impresario. The musical composition is the perfect blend of instruments to compliment your song lyrics. I especially enjoyed the interlude of the fiddle. I wish I had a drummer with such a soft touch in my band. When are you on the road to Nashville? Time to make that trip! You have the unique sound, so believe it and don't give up! Don't just think about it, do it! So then you will sing your best song "No Regrets!"

A bittersweet time
Larry Cann rides into the winner circle again with his song, "Much too Young". When I heard the beautifully arranged finger style acoustic guitar opening on this epic piece I knew I was in for a real treat. The hard knocks real life subject matter of learning that someone's heart is wandering while you're not around is a common affliction of the human condition. Yea, not every woman, or man for that matter, is cut out to be in a relationship that requires one partner to travel a lot...and the other to have some fidelity. His lyrical treatment of this delicate subject matter is both thoughtful and straight forward. Other concerns which he addresses are that of dealing with stiff competition and just plain getting old. These are challenges which we all face and are universal to living life. We all have to face them sooner or later. "Much Too Young" deals with them all head on and kind of gives them all a silver lining of sorts. Larry's good at that...the silver lining part ;)

Pretty country song, great acoustic guitar and fiddle
Larry has a great rich country voice like the greats George Strait, Conway Twitty, Kieth Urban and Blake Shelton. Great arrangement tastefully building with the drums coming in on the second verse. Fiddle compliments the lyrics perfectly, the acoustic and electric guitars are very well played. The lyrics tell a great story. This song is a winner.

Much Too Young
Excellent. Great picking. Would have liked to heard more soul in the vocal to convince me you're much too young to feel that damn old. Heavier Bass would have brought the track to it's full potential
