I don’t even know how to begin this other than, classic country. Love it! Corny lyrics and a nice beat which has my feet tapping the minute it started playing. I enjoy listening to country classics like these and I hope you keep on making them tunes! Rock on!!

Larry does a really good job with this cover. The vocals, music and everything about this song is spot on. Its awesome to hear others do covers of songs many have forgotten, I wish more artist would do this.

Take me to the rodeo is a very energetic piece, strong, powerful, with blues, rock, hard rock and above all with a very engaging and captivating melody. musically the piece is very well done, each musical instrument is well mixed, perfectly plays the bow part and is almost perfectly integrated with the other musical instruments. the hammond organ has a special charm and gives that extra touch to the whole composition

Great job! I've not heard the original version of this song so I can't compare the two but your version is awesome! Great music, love your vocals. Great song. Made me want to dance. A real toe tapper.

70th Country Rock
This is a well produced Country Rock song, everything fits in place and sounds pretty good, nothing to complain. The singer has a good Country voice and singing style. I don't think the song itself is very strong, but I understood it's a cover.

Kick'n Country Cover
Chris LeDoux would be real proud of this Kick'n Country Cover of his song, "Take Me To The Rodeo". Larry starts it out all stripped down and cool, just guitar, B-3, and a trap kit setting the groove. Then he builds it up a li'l bit more with a slide guitar as the disaster unfolds with a dead kangaroo road kill stink'n up to high heaven and he still can't get a ride to the bloody rodeo. Now the band's crank'n full tilt boogie, guitar slipping'n a sliding away with this old cowboy raging at his outback red dirt bad luck! If he was from Louisiana he'd be a ragin'Cajun by now. The way he builds up the emotional tension in this song is pure art. The progression of every musical element in this song serves to build it up from the sizzling start all the way up to a frenzied mayhem expressing the emotions of a really, really bad day musically. Larry Cann and company are really making some powerfully provocative music down under. This is an awesome cover of a truly great Country song, by a Country Music Legend.

Great Song... got my ears .. love the Lyrics and like the Rockabilly Sound !!! Like the way you started out the song, different kind of feel and love the drums and all the instrumentals. Will be honest that is the only way to be helpful
Great vocals and music. However, it's been done atleast as good or better by the original. If you take a song from a star and re do it, it needs to be yours not a mimic. You should be able to improve on it or it's not a good idea to redo it bud. You certainly have the talent just need to have your own gimic or nitch. I truly am not trying to be overly critical. I think you are able to make your mark, just do what you got in you not what another has in them. I think you could truly be a star.

Take me to the rodeo!
Great intro and I love the funky beat. The melody and chord progressions are great. But, lyrically it went astray. I would cut out the the first verse (s) and start with verse two instead. It gets you into the song and tells you about the protagonist quicker. Verse three brings in a blonde. Why? Disjointed verses. You should write out a song map. What do you want to say in verse one, then verse two etc. As it is, there's just a bunch of disjointed images. It doesn't tell a story or go anywhere.
