Rodeo Review
Yeehaw! I clicked on Rodeo Ready, and had immediate visions of beautiful cowgirls, in those rocky mountain jeans, line-dancing to your music! What better recommendation is there? Larry Cann, you da' man! keep 'em comin'! Just like that!

Great Job
Thank you for requesting a review. I love the "old country" feel to this unique piece. Great vocal, great story. Love the music. Genre fits vocal, smooth and easy to understand. Good Luck. I hope it does really well. A must listen. Feel free to send a review for my newest release "One Single Rose". Look forward to hearing more.

Rodeo Ready
I like the guitar on the intro...The whole band rocks in . Maybe the intro is a tad long. Female BGV's would be cool on this a little more prominant, like back talk. Like the almost stops. A total stop would've been cool. But not a deal breaker. Fiddle, baby where's the fiddle. Ready to rock, do it for the thrill....Shake, shake, shake...Chasing the who what where? I like the radio voice it is cool......Get rodeo ready, get rodeo ready, get rodeo ready....Get rodeo ready, get rodeo ready, get rodeo ready.....

Review of rodeo ready
Hey thanks again for asking me to listen to your tune Mr. Cann , great instrumental start and message gives the listener a little light on what’s to follow. Really great intertainment from a great artist and band a lot of country with a little rocking beat thrown in , the guitar bonds it all to get you rodeo ready and ready for the next step up in the saddle or on the back of a wild bronk ready to leave his rider clawing to stay aboard until the whistle , so friend climb on open your ears and listen to a great little up beat country from our friend down under!

Rodeo Ready Review
Hey there Larry. Always a pleasure to listen to another hit of yours Larry. I loved the musical intro to the song. Because of that arrangement, I envisioned a cowboy with his hat on tight, head bent over and hunkered down on his shoulders; ready to shoot out of the chute on a nightmare of a critter. lol Quite an explosive feeling. I like the effects of the organ. I don't know if the sound of a crackly voice fits well for the intro; Maybe a voice with a significant amount of echo or reverb.. Although your voice is right on key, and great as usual, I was half expecting a Randy Travis or Josh Turner type of voice; a darker, lower voice. ;) I like the effects on the voice at the point of "You chase the white line . . " until you start the chorus again. Another great tune my friend. May the Lord continue to lead you further along on your musical and cowboy journey. Blessings, Trev :)

my thoughts
Thanks for sharing your music. This is a little different for you. Especially the intro. But thats OK. You quickly found your known groove and thats a GREAT place to be for you. Your band as usual is tight as a new pair of Levi's. The distortation sounds good on the guitar.. Rythm section is tight as always. GREAT job from an extremely talented set of musicians. Thanks again

Rodeo Ready
Nice tune, good instrumentation, and great vocals. Mixed well, can hear everything, I think, since I do not know for sure what instruments were used, but, what I hear sounds great. Keep up the great work, and, much success, to you and yours. Casey

Rodeo Ready review. this song is a strictly Country piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Country style as I said everything recalls the Country genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Country piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Larry What a great Aussie Country rock song. I love the sound effects especially on your voice. Great lyrics telling the story about the different hard working men.Something most Aussies can relate to. Great music mate...catch you around the traps...Cheers Johnny.

Rodeo Ready
I reviewed this song. The beat to the song is definitely Country Rock. It is explicit with the lyrics, the soundtrack sounds real good. I would recommend this song to everyone.I feel the complete song to include the vocals highly qualify for top ratings on the country charts.

Rodeo Ready is ROCK'N!
I haven't written a review on N1M for some time now. Yea, I know, been busy doing other stuff. However, Larry Cann and I are far from strangers. I've always thoroughly enjoyed listening to his down home brand of Country music from the land down under and this time he's got a reall rocker! Being actual working rodeo cowboys and ranchers by trade Larry and his band mates ain't talking smack when they say they're "Rodeo Ready". You can literally take that statement to the bank. The funky swagger in the backbeat of this tune conjures up imags of the gait of a saddle bronc named Nitro with a big ole burr under his saddle blanket. It's loaded and ready to rock. Harmonizing guitars accent the lyrically driven vocal delivery as the Hammond B-3 adds to the tension exponentially from the background. This train keeps gaining momentum as Larry talks up his good buddies in Yarraman and elsewhere in the tradition of Charlie Daniels. "Rodeo Ready" as a song is part of Larry's evolution as a songwriter, a singer, and as an artist. It proves that he's got his finger on the pulse of what's happening and is taking his music full speed ahead into the 21st Century of Country Music.

Hi
This sound more like a Classic Rock with a Country Lyric..to me it is a good Idea but also danger not to many People like mix like that any how this is just my opinion.. I also know that Music Publishers like a "clean cut" songs..see for Me Vocal will be ok for a Rock but not so much for Country.. so hey just record 2 versions of This song and send the better version to the publishers..I wish You good luck with submission..This is a interesting combination.. Good Job...
