About Larry Garrett

I’m a singer/songwriter in Independence, Mo. I write songs that I feel are a “slice of life.” That is the primary theme of my music. The subjects of my songs are people I’ve known and life experiences I’ve had. I play guitar, banjo, uke, and harmonica..... I play at least two gigs per week. Both are large coffeehouses and one I’ve played every Wednesday for over 10 years. The other I’ve played every Friday for over five years. I also play street festivals, wineries, and anywhere else they won’t arrest me.
