Writing the song “Do You Feel That Heat” meant an awful lot to me because I wrote it just after my youngest son, a Marine, went to Iraq in 2003 to end the reign of Saddam Hussein. Those poor young men went weeks without bathing or any other proper amenities that we experience every day. Needless to say his entire Battalion was on security lock down and my wife and I could hardly breathe for a couple of months until we were able the hear from him. Again I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for gifting me with a portion of your day and your life. Bless each and every one of you!
