Hello all! Hope your New Year is off to a grand start! As you've probably noticed, the tribute to my Uncle Alvin was extended; you can hear his songs towards the end of my playlist in case you missed it. Of my own songs, the song that I get most response to is "Down Behind The Front" and I appreciate it; but when we consider the Sandy Hook, Uvalde, and all the other school shootings that have taken place, a song I wrote called "Can't Quiet My Soul" is number 1 on my play list right now. I could not find the right lyrics for the title until Sandy Hook happened. Please listen and do what you can to help make our innocent children feel safe about going to school again. Musicians, if you want to run with it, feel free!!

I meant to pay tribute to singer Steve Salas of the Chicano group Tierra who recorded a Spanish version of my song "I'm Comin' Home" titled "Regresare." He passed away on 2/10/22. Heartfelt condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
