As an artist with several genre interests, the style I choose to display is a variation of many influences. Rock, R&B, Hip Hop and Country with some Jazz. Also, playing drums by ear not reading the notes, gives me a more distinct interaction with rhythm and beat counts to arrange lyrics parallel to music playing. These days most mainstream music and artists are puppets and lack originality and talent but being at the right place and time is usually how deals are made.
