I reviewed another song of yours and I have to say I am impressed with the writing and the fact neither song sounds like the other. This song has a very ambient feeling. It's dreamy, airy and it flows very nicely. You have a gift for movement within a piece of music. Everything just seems to be where it needs to be nothing is out of place. The mix is great! I can hear everything the way I feel you envisioned it. I can't say anything bad about this recording. There is nothing I would dare to do different to it. I hope you keep working on new material and have a great time creating something new. Keep up the great work!

Very interesting using a repeating vocal part as part of the rhythm of the song. Wildly original and inventive. As a producer, I would have LOVED to work on this song. No-one is trying to be the stand-alone star in this composition, it's truly a well-blended wall of meshing parts. I don't speak the language; have no idea what it's about, but I'd listen to more from this band just based upon this song. It makes me want to shed the garments of convention in my own work and say 'screw it...let's have some fun.'

This is different for sure, has a cool feel. Not my language so it is a little difficult to follow. However sound quality is decent and it has a vibe. The vocals sound recorded well despite not knowing the words... Keep rocking it!

#1 Insouciance review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Eh bien Les portes de l’Esprit, votre attente est terminée. Cette chanson "Insouciance" des Portes de l’Esprit est comme si elles chantaient dans une autre langue, le russe peut-être? Les tambours semblent être un peu dans le mélange mais ils se sont assurés que leurs effets de bonbons d'oreille sont en avant. Cette chanson me rappelle une bande son à la fin d'un film syfy, un refrain très dramatique à la sortie. La prochaine fois que j'écoute "Insouciance", je me roule en gras et me transporte dans la musique! Rock On...

The music is very passionate and associates the accompanying chordal structure in a minor key to give it a more passionate heart thrusting pull on the soul of the listener; in this case the beloved. Yet, the music has a simplistic way of telling a story about who is being loved and waiting for love. Novelty may not necessarily be the saving grace of any song, but neither is copying the same old tried and proved formula for writing music. The original intent of any song is to capture the listener. more than trying to make the charts. Once this expression is achieved invention is no longer a god.

Its for sure a tedency in the world of music, eletronic stuff to play any kind of music. What is new or is trendy again, is the way artists are using more and more the low frequencies and making the music sounds more heavy. Even more for the guitars. Even i dont speak french, i like the melodies that sometimes bring me to the Telephone LP that i alwyas listen to!

Good song in a rock profreesive way in french. It's always a challenge to rock in french (Iknow what I'm talking about). But this touch the point and in a certain way, the words are accessories to the music, which is very good. Bravo!

I titled this review emotion because this music put me at this level. It brings me in a world of deepness, I would say at the opposite of insouciance (carelessness, recklessness). Out of that I appreciate the professional production, very neat. Great voices and harmony, clean instrumentalist, plus the contribution of electronic sounds wich is very effective, bravo.

I really love this track! - It's in a different language, but it doesn't even matter! The Emotion of the music and vocals speaks for itself!! Really well written and is very engaging! highly recommend!
