under it all...
i must say, everything in this joint works... cool, laid back beat... atmosperic, and ambient, yet funky and danceable at the same time... reminiscent of double, and the orb... i absolutely love it... and i'm a very harsh critic... it has almost everything i want in a dance record... especially the main ingredient... subtlety... well done...

Nicely done. This would make a nice sound track for movie. The mix is very clean. The various sounds and instruments are very complimentary of each other.

Laid Back Techno?
Was not expecting this tune to be this smooth and melodic! This song and artist have opened my ears to something more when it comes to the genre of techno music! Thank you keep up the great work.

Man! you made me jump out of my seat and dance at three in the morning. So, after explaining to the police why i woke my whole apartment building up full of elderly people. I jumped on my couch and did it again. I can tell you have some kind of comprehension of mixing. This is the main problem hear when doing reviews. It makes a good song great.I like how it comes in so sultry then the drums are so crisp as the accent the mood.Good song. I wish you the best.

Review of "Under it All" by Willie P
I didnt like it at all until the vocals came in. I still think its a little boring and has a 80's feel to it. Which in some cases coukd be good, but not this case. It sounds like you know what you're doing technically butI'm just not feeling it, not contempo enough. Keep it up the.

Under It All
This is an epic. It starts out gentle and low. Little by slow it builds. The first word, Oh!, is at about a minute. At about two and half minutes the song is stated once. Then at three and a half the same lyric repeats and repeats, building and building to a peak. The climax is gentle. Overall, an enjoyable experience. It took me a while to get it. The drum programming doesn't ever stray from the beat. This is sample based recording. It seems more programmed than performed. Even so, it is good music. Then there is the philosophic question behind the lyric. "Under it all are they trying to be like us?" Are they, really? Yes, we all have similar biological needs, but culturally, "they" don't necessarily want to be like "us". Many peoples want to be be left alone to live their own culture, and do not desire to become like us. For example, the Chinese, the Indians and the Persians each have a separate, and much older cultural identity. In my experience, it is more common for "them" to think "we" are crazy, or worse. Go figure! my 2 cents, Eric Blackmer

Review of "Under It All"
I dug the overall vibe of the piece, but in my opinion, the intro could use quite a bit more finesse. The hard left/hard right panning was harsh, and I don't think it served up what was coming next as well as it could. I'm glad I hung in there and didn't follow my first instinct when I heard the panning issue...which was to move on to another song.

It sounds soft in my ears. I liked the beat of the song very much. The keyboard's work is also well done. I felt miss the lyrics in this tune. Good work. Best wishes Aira Winterland Brazil

A bit dull
I'd probably enjoy this track a lot more if I was trashed, but I don't suppose that's saying much about it. I really like a piece of music to take me somewhere and this doesn't really do that. On the positive side the mix is nice and the beat works well, if a little uninspiring. I'd love to here a few more hooks and a bit more melody, but that's just me

Just Nice
What can I say, it's just a nice piece; like an abstract paint from Picasso's student. Would be nice if it had more variations though. Good try and keep trying to perfect your creations.

Under it All
At first, I thought it was a pretty well done instrumental song. It would be a great song for a movie. When it first starts off, it sounds like something you would hear in Start Wars. What threw me off is the vocals that suddenly came in. They seemed to be placed in a random spot. They just didn't seem to flow with the rest of the song. It really confused me. I would have liked to hear some changes in the song. After a minute of the same thing, I lost interest. It may be good music to listen to while mediating or relaxing. It can't imagine it being played on mainstream radio though.
