Hi Everyone, Just a quick note, we lost the founding member of the 8 Ball Blues Band, drummer, James Penny. We will currently be using the band name : Mood Dawg Blues. Our new drummer is Skip Vribes, and we are all excited to have him on board. Come on out and catch us perform together April, 1 or 2 , 2017 at the Texas Musicians Museum... we are looking forward to it. Hope to see you all there.

Happy Holidays to all of you. This year has flown by.. The 8 Ball Blues Band and I have done a lot of in house rehearsing this year and we now have our first gig lined up for Jan. 26 at the Basement Bar in the Stockyards in Fort Worth. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to give a listen to my music... About Linda Riggi
Born and raised in Schenectady, NY. Started playing music in elementary school. Moved to Texas in 1989. Linda has played solo, in a duo, in a trio and in bands. First picked up the guitar when she was 13 yrs old. Blues is her forte but she enjoys all kinds of music.. "Music has always been a part of my life from a very young age"
" I cut my teeth playing open mics in Houston Texas more than 20 years ago ( Thank you Pearl and Lee Murray) I played in Houston clubs from 1990-1998. I have played in the local clubs in Fort Worth, Tx. from 1998-present.
In 2013 Linda met Pete Thompson (former drummer for Robin Trower) and began recording her first solo CD Born With The Blues. This CD has streamed all over the globe. She is grateful to Pete for his production work and musical contribution on this CD. Mr. Rod "Rook" Davies (former guitarist for Silver Head) is featured on Love In The Blues with some magical guitar licks.
Linda released her first solo CD - Linda Riggi Born With The Blues in December of 2013. It is currently getting airplay on many internet stations and is available for sale through (expired link). (BMI)
