I feel the vocal mix lets this one down for me. The vocal is distorted & very dry, this is distracting from the sweet melodic & rhythmic pulse of the song, with that raggaeton pecussion, on a positive note, i like the energy and spirit of the vocalist, the vocals could sit a bit more tighter to the beat if the backing vocals wer placed better in time, as a 30 year mix engineer and vocal engineer, these are the things i tackle every day with songs, so please take my critique as good brotherly advice!

Besides needing some vocal training, mic usage training and recording techniques, this could be so much better. The basics and foundation for this cut has major potential but needs a lot of technical help. As a Producer of all kinds of music including island music like this, the recording process is crucial and key to it's success. The writing isn't bad but the way it was recorded needs a great deal of finesse. Music could use some more layering, the mix of the vocals with the music is unbalanced and the vocals themselves are over modulated. Keep trying, keep recording but please have someone who's qualified help you with your layering and mastering.
