Loren Dean Harper is a singer, actor, director and screenwriter from Detroit, Michigan. His career first started in 1988 as Ken in the Broadway musical Ain't Misbehavin'. he has starred in Dreamgirls, Porgy and Bess, Driving Miss Daisy and The Wiz. He has directed several nationally successful plays including Wicked Ways, A Good Man Is Hard To Find, Which Way Do I Go, The Devil Made Me Do It and Thank God the Beat Goes On starring the legendary Whispers. He was cast in the starring role of Bishop Wright in the Dietrick Haddon film Blessed and Cursed which premiered on Showtime and is also available on DVD at all Walmarts nation wide. He is in pre-production for his first screenplay entitled Spontaneous Intuition.
