Luciano De Fortuna is an inusual percussionist. He plays cajon as drums and congas as mystical effects. Luciano De Fortuna, born in S. Maria Capua Vetere, near Caserta, in 1983, has music inside...he feels the heat, the beat and then he plays.
before studiing percussions, Luciano played at 10 years old piano and drums.
After the college, he shows his nature and power for all that is percussion.
He studied with Franco Faraldo, Giovanni Imparato, Marco Fadda and then he studied also with Jimmy Cobb, Bobbhy Dhuram, Francisco Mela, Karl Potter and Ray Mantilla at TUSCIA IN JAZZ MASTERCLASSES 2007 and 2008.
He loves jazz and his dream is to change jazz standars structure and nature...however he feels, not plays, Music.
