Paul's introduction to music began at age 8 with Classical piano instruction before switching to drums at 12. The rest, as they say, is history as he became immersed in styles as diverse as Rock, Metal, Small Group and Big Band Jazz, Fusion, Theatre R&B/Soul, Prog, and World Beat. Paul is also actively involved in music education, keeping a full schedule of private students in the Chicago area. A composite list of his musical influences includes: Buddy Rich, Mitch Mitchell, Tony Williams Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Billy Cobham, Led Zeppelin, Chicago, ELP, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chick Corea, Frank Zappa, and Stevie Wonder.

Jeff, aka "Death Ray" is the band's unofficial Fashionista. On a serious note, Jeff is an accomplished and classically trained Cellist who lists among his influences; Geddy Lee, Steve Harris, Flea, Mahler, Respighi and Pink Floyd.

Jeff played in the same band as Nan (not at the same time) and was introduced through a former bandmate. The rest is history. A product of the 70s, Jeff is most influenced by D. Betts, Santana, Schenker, Blackmore, R. Gallagher, SRV, BB King etc.
John Bouris

John met Nan at Second City where they both were trained in improv. His musical knowledge and versatility make John an integral part of the Luna Blu sound. Heavily influenced by Progressive music, John's faves include Gentle Giant, Chick Corea and Bill Evans.
