Hello for those of you who have listened to my entire album (or both for that matter) you may recall a song "Used to Listen". That song is about the trials of listening to one's parents fight night after night. It is also about how that effected my intentions when I grew up. Last week my mother died. My father died years ago and now I no longer have any parents to complain about. Life is interesting and the people who love us truly valuable. I spent the last few years with my mom who struggled with dementia. In those years she blessed me with a new attitude, one worthy of waiting for. I will write a song about it for my third album. In the meantime I wanted to reach out and say thanks. To be honest I am surprised every time I get a fan letter. It is a pleasant surprise that, during my mother's dying days, held me in awe. All I ever gave you was the music I couldn't help but write. You however have given me strength, appreciation and the courage to make more music. Thank you. Much Love Lynette
