Nice traditional 8 Bar introduction that laid a foundation for what turned out to be a wonderful but unique approach to a well developed song that holds its own against any of its predecessors. The lead vocalist has a professional and assertive confidence that is well developed. The clarity in your voice is as good as all the greats who have contracts with big labels. There is a resonance that is mixed with a beautiful sprinkling of a country truthfulness. The lyrics are well developed and demands the listener to acknowledge the commonality between how we all grew up as children. We all have a place that our first adventure took place and this song allows us to go back in time and find that place within this musical selection. The chorus has a very tight harmonized blend that is often heard in this style of country soul. I truly appreciate the ability of the vocalist that comes through in every note that he expresses. Right on target. Now the music was a perfect match. There was an excellent mix performed on the entire selection. Your hard work and extreme talent is shown clearly as you bring life to this Old Bridge. The ending was executed as well as the beginning. What a wonderful job. This is nice song but need some work done..I mean in Arrangement and more Passion and Energy in to The Vocal Part as It is now is just a Song and in order to be pick up by Music Publisher has to be Better ( You know They are Hard to Please is also a good idea to keep intro at minimum ..as It is is ok to send to Radio Stations with some luck is possible they will play It.I Like It but They will have The Last Word..so I wish You good luck with Submissions..

I like the song but it need some vocal parts are off the tune..a better Arrangement will help also..is not important if I like It or Not.. Hey there! Having come from country music as my background, I think this is a good old down south country tune. ONLY thing I can say to change for future, is, try and be DIFFERENT than the 90's Garth Brook style. It's a great song! my personal choices on country are not traditional unless it is blue grass or the vocalist sounds DIFFERENT than ALL the other country vocalists out there. It could use some grit, speed it up a bit (not much) and add some background vocals that will help make the lead vocalist stand out more. Nice tune! Catchy!! Good Luck with the future!!

"Under That Old Bridge" has a nice,good feeling to it. It's definitely Country,but Pop is married in it. It's a good marriage. The lead singer has tone. The guitar solo is okay. All and all,I like the story in this tune. Simply feeling good...

Really like the lyrics, nice melody. I think this type of song can be done in any genre . The vocal sounds country but the song feels more like pop all in all the song has a lot of potential . I wouldn't give up on this one, sometimes you have to go back to it and try a different arrangement, Good song!

But why do I tell this? This song has definitely a important message and is more creative than some others. Overall a really impressive composition from Mac & McNeely Band. The soft played guitar solo in the middle really stand out like all the other great melodies from the acoustic guitars.This is an extra factor what makes the whole arrangement complete. This romantic based songtext let me remember my own childhood and is not far away from normal radio hits. Overall a perfect composition from a very talented songwriter.
