About Madelene Jaensson

(expired link) Swedish Singer/songwriter Madelene Jaensson started as a drummer and songwriter in a rock band at the age of 14. Five years later she bought her first guitar and started to sing by herself.

In December 2008 she recorded her first demo Measure Up followed by One Last Night, Take It From Here and A Day Goes By which became the tracks to her first EP. Sign was released on Spotify in June and right now Madelene is in the studio to record new songs with Joakim Lundgren as her producer.

Gavin DeGraw, Brian McKnight, James Morrison and NEEDTOBREATHE are the key to her inspiration. Her music has been described as acoustic pop with a touch of rock, vocal and country.
