It was written after chatting with a friend about how frustrating it is to feel like you’ve taken a step forward and then that certain someone decides to show up out of no where, and now you’re two steps back again. She said I should write a song about it, and the words flowed effortlessly. Andrew Chervak is an amazing producer that was able to see the attitude and sass that the song was written with, and have it shine through to the final track. I wrote it to get over toxic people in my life, and I hope it inspires people to say the things that deserve to be heard in tough times.
