Magik Squirrel is a BMI recording artist
In September of 2013, Magik Squirrel was named a Break Out Artist Finalist at the September Reverbnation Break Out Artist Competition in Worcester Mass. In the Spring of 2015, he was selected as one of the Beantown 9 in the Hard Rock Rising Boston competition. His performance on March 20 did not win but it did win over some very experienced fans: the judges - Alternative rocker Robin Lane and Heavy Metal queen Lizzy Borden, who praised his song writing and unique performance style.
"Some Great songs, I got it - you rock - Exciting, I'm into it," wrote Lizzy.
"Awesome songs... Velvet Underground feel.... I want to know all about you. WOW! Chutzpa...that's what you got," wrote Alternative Rock Legend Robin Lane, who gave Magik her highest score of the night.
