About MANDRAGORE

The mexican band Mandragore borns in Zacatecas City on April 2001. Mandragore band is formed by 4 members: Vladimir Delgado (vocals), Rogelio Hernanndez (bass), Luis Gonzalez (drums) and Eduardo Castaneda (guitars).

This group arises from the intention of creating aggressive - melodic Death Metal, always trying to give their own personal style to the songs due to the variety of preferences between the members.

Some of the most important influences in the group are: In Flames, Dark Tranquility, Carcass, Testament, Metallica (80;s), Soilwork, Hypocrisy, Slayer, etc.

On january of 2002 Mandragore gets into the studio to record what would be their first demo entitled "Mandragore". It contains 3 songs: Angel Canibal, Perdi Mi Alma and Galerias Negras.

One year later, Mandragore gets back to the studio to record "Vacio" between August and October of 2003. This new demo contains 10 songs and it was made with more professional equipment in a different studio (Cerdito Records). This material had a better production (and better sprees) than the first one.
