About Manji Alderman
Grew up in Strongsville, Ohio and at a young age received my first children's’ play “Smurf” guitar and hand held radio. When I was a child I would record myself on a plastic Fisher Price Tape Player and listen back to my own recordings. I was introduced to the Clarinet in Elementary School and played it for many years in grade school bands and was awarded First Chair clarinet player by challenging all the others to a duel. I earned a Senior Music Award for performing in Marching Band 94'-96', Banner Carrier 96', Cleveland Indians World Series 94', Citrus Bowl Parade in Florida (USA) 94', Concert Band 95', Symphonic Band 96', and Wind Ensemble 97'. I was reintroduced to and encouraged to play the guitar in 2004 by Alden Kimbrell, (musician, recording artist and composer), and played at a few Long Term Care Facilities (Nursing Homes). I've recorded myself on a 4-Track Tape Player. My first time playing guitar on a stage was in Cleveland, Ohio at a bar called Wilberts. (Set List for Wilberts: #1 God Says, #2 I Talked 2 God, #3 True Love, #4 Let It Be, a Cover Song by The Beatles) My very first EP, “Annihilated To Love” was finished in 2014 and published by Tunecore. I recorded on a BR-1180 Digital 10 Track Player, then transferred later to a Tascam Dp-24 Digital Track Player. The EP has been registered ® plus © copyrighted with BMI. I am a self-made, Independent Singer/Songwriter/Musician/Recording Artist. All Songs On This Platform Are The Original Final Versions.
