About Manu Napolitano

Venezuelan Italian singer, she released her first CD, VORTICE, produced and mixed in Germany by Rude Hi Fi aka BarrioBeat. Special guest Joyce Moreno Born in Venezuela, Manu is living in Italy. Three years passed in Ecuador together with Shuar, Amazonian aboriginal people.
Manu recorded her song “BALLARE” with the ska group "Le Tremende". The videoclip "BALLARE" participated to the "TEK FESTIVAL" of independent productions (Rome) in 2004.
With the trio ENTRE AGUAS, Manu recordered the cd "CAMINANDO AL SUR".
On 2005/2006 Manu participated at the FESTIVAL OF RAVELLO, LOCUS FESTIVAL.
On 2006 Manu performed at ELECTRO WOMAN FESTIVAL in Piraino (Sicily), with the TARTA SELVA NEGRA PROJECT for which Manu composed and performed her songs.
Since 2005 Manu is playing world songs. A ethnomusicological work about world popular roots.
Manu is part of "Ensemble du Sud", a multiethnic band living in Italy.

On december 2010 Manu's first album is out VORTICE, mixed and produced in Germany by Rude Hi-Fi BarrioBeat Production...a lot of artists partecipated...a very very special guest...Joyce Moreno, one of the greatest stars of Brazilian music.
