We've just gone thru possibly the worst year of our lives. I don't think there is a person on earth who hasn't been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
My heartfelt wishes to everyone within my reach for a healthy, happy and prosperous 2021; may God save us from another year like 2020.

About Mario la Vera
Born in Colombia, where during his early years he performed as a singer, played guitar and bass and recorded for several record labels, among them RCA and Sonolux, Mario achieved popularity as a member of the group “Los Falcons” prior to realizing his dream of coming to the United States. After a short stay in New York City, Mario settled in New Jersey where he found his "niche" for both his music and development of his main profession in computers. Working in this field for several years while "moonlighting" in music (his first love) and before making it his “main” profession. Eventually, he became an American citizen to honor his adopted United States as his residence. As a vocalist and guitarist, Mario originally performed with several bands and eventually ventured out on his own as a solo guitar vocalist, performing at many of the NY area spots, such as The Copacabana, The Regency Hotel, The Waldorf Astoria, The Hilton to name a few. In New Jersey, The Olde Union House, Red Bank(9 years run), The Molly Pitcher Hotel and Europa South Point Pleasant (4 years run) to name a few. After new liquor laws were implemented, which affected profits in the night club scene, Mario decided to fade out the restaurant/night club scene and perform mostly at catering and private venues, something which proved to be the answer to a more reliable, profitable and stable business. This transition expanded Mario's' performances to places ranging from Cape Cod to Florida. Mario and his wife Joanne now reside in Bonita Spring, Florida where he has been semi-retired for the last 5 years and still performs in local venues including volunteering playing piano for the local Hospitals and elderly care facilities. He also composes and arranges music at his home studio for his link web page.
