Misty Mountain Dream is a piece that I think is very introspective. I had this impression from the beginning of listening because I immediately started to feel very strong feelings. maybe I'm wrong but it concerns something that is part of your life and that you managed to put to music. musically the piece does not mind, enters the head of the listener on tiptoe and does not cause any disturbance or prejudice. all in all, I congratulate you

Solid
Good acoustic guitar sound on intro. I like the lead guitar intro. Nice smokey vocals singing about Tennessee. Overall nice production with the back up vocals, synth, instrumentation. Lyrics are good like you might even be from Tennessee. Digging the delayed chorus - sort of rounds the song out. Good job writing and performing this song. Top notch work here on NumberOne. Thanks for putting this out there.

Home Sweet Home
Misty Mountain Dream is "home sweet home". It looks back on simpler times. The words are simply sung. Not too many "runs",and that's okay. It's refreshing to hear someone just sing the song, sometimes. The music is People's Country. Consistency is a key.

Marion Drexter
Although the music genre is not mine, I really love Marion's voice/sound; Very warm, accuracy in tonality and sort of unique expression. Her voice is very deep, rarely sound nowadays, and pull me to a desire for more flexibility in style. I hope very much to hear Marion in some blues orientation in order to take more advantages of her very deep and unique voice.

Misty Mountain Dream Review
Absolutely stunning, heartfelt lovelorn country/folk flavoured ballad "Misty Mountain Dream" from Ontario based artist Marion Drexler; sumptuous Classic Rock/folk flavoured guitar instrumentation & very accomplished riffs, & very mature delivery, & smoky country flavoured vocals - you could really feel the gravitas, slight melancholy & longing in her vocals, I'd defo rank up there with the best established country artists, & I loved the stunning poetic, panoramic imagery of distant mountains, & yearning for adventure & the cry of the open road - for a few minutes it really took me away from my everyday life (sat in Costas doing music admin before work :( lol) & when I closed my eyes it really transported me away to distant, faraway lands, like the very best music should do; just stunning work Marion, I'm defo a fan - keep it coming, looking forward to hearing more from you hun! :) Peace & best wishes from James T Wilde, Classic Rock/Indie/Folk artist from Leicester, UK

Misty Mountain Dream
Marion, sweet instrumental, like the work of the musicians on this track. I love the work the engineer did on the mix and the song is melodic and sweet. I like how it is written too. So far this is the best track that you have done that I have listened to. You sound better on this track, it is like it was literally written for you. Better vocal control and just a really nice song from start to finish. You have some great people working with you. Congratulations on a song well done!

Great Vocals
Power vocals, great harmony, nice tasty slide, and agree that Eastern TN is a beautiful place to write about. Marion does a great job of expressing her passion and the chorus is perfect for the song.

Great song!
Everything sounds great. I love the vocal & guitar. I do wish the volume of the lead & background vocals was a little more prominent in the mix. The sweetness of Marion's voice have our full attention.

Strong & Sweet
Haunting guitar work, strong song crafting would make me buy it. Her voice is sweet and it draws me in; it needs to be just a tad longer with a longer guitar solo. Maybe if she let go lyrically, it would pay off.

Hi Am Mahdeva, feel free to check out my music
Good music, tome, meanssomething thatmakes feel youwhat you couldn't before. Pleasure and joy comes in many different forms, but there is a secret corner only music cantouch. That is what I mean.Like Russell Watson'sAmore Musica. I heard it on the radio when I was just waking up, early and fresh in the morning. It took me away on a journey, and moved me so profoundly I wrote the lyrics(scribbled, really) on a scrap of paper next to my bed. It's like a beautiful woman you might fall in love with; you absolutely feel compelled by her, to learn her name, to listen to her, again and again, so that you may fall in love once more.Phillippe Jaroussky's voice does thisfor me, too. I swear that man has the voice of an angel.

Moving
There is a feeling to the introduction that starts to draw you in immediately. The melody and lyrics create a mental picture that is undeniable and continues to draw you in to the story and the scene. The interplay between major and minor tonality adds to the emotional tone that the lyrics are telling further enhancing the entire song. This is a wonderfully composed song that will not grow old.

Great Sound!
I enjoyed your sing, Misty Moutain Dream. You have a rich vocal quality. You remind me of a cross between Annie Lennox and Stevie Nicks; so, I'd say that places you in very prestigious company. The music is tight, and very professionally done. While listening, I envisioned you upon stage, bathed in the brightness of the spotlight, dressed in black, soft of, sheer chiffon top and black flair bottom pants. You had an Annie Lennox kind of hair style; and for some reason, I have no idea whether you play, but you were strumming this fantastic Gibson, red, of course. It's true, I was writing as I was envisioning. I do that sometimes. The quality of your sound and the song made you a visual reality. That's got to be just about the best compliment I've bestowed upon any here. And to think, I didn't write all of the above for the extra credit - it just happens to be true - but received it any way. In fact, I only write reviews regarding material I like. That doesn't equate to a lack of criticism; however, my intention is always to be constructive and encouraging where I feel there is the potential to be great. You definitely have that potential. And, if the feeling were mutual, I'd collaborate on a duet song with you any day, Annie, I mean, Stevie, I mean... you know what I mean. Lol! Just kidding. Keep up the great work. Ted

Hi Marion. This is a really nice song. Very visual to me. I really like your voice, your lyrics, your harmonies and guitar. The keys also added colour to your great arrangement. great melodic riffs. Traditional chords and wistful message. The "Eaglish" ooo's in the background is an excellent touch . Love the timbre in your voice. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Mike
