About MARK ZUCCO
The Group strarted in 1979. The Original band members were Jake Zucco (Guitar) Mark Zucco (Keyboards) Gary Fischer (Bass) And Joey Bruno (Drums). Joe Gordon was not in the band, but was part of the song writing team with Jake Zucco. By 1982 they we're playing gigs all over the Pittsburgh area. In 1983 They recorded thier first single on AirCraft Records. The A Side:( Runnin' In A Dream) By Mark Zucco- B Side: (Teenage Suicide) By Jake Zucco and Joe Gordon. It got some local air play in Pittsburgh. By the mid 80's the group (expired link) the years Mark, Jake and Joe continued to write and record thier music. In 2011 The Wurms have reformed, with Jake Zucco on Guitar, Joe Gordon on Bass, Mark Zucco on Keys and Jeff Fetterman on Drums. 2014 The Wurms record a 5 song (expired link). with Producer Rick Witkowski at the famous Studio L. and make their first appearance at the Hard Rock Cafe opening for former "Squeeze" member Glenn Tilbrook. 2015 For their first full album the Wurms team up with producer Carl M. Grefenstette, a Pittsburgh music legend in his own right, whose achievements include producing the first Pittsburgh punk rock compilation and, as the drummer for the Flashcats and do a 2nd. show at The Hard Rock Cafe opening for San Francisco band "Flaming Groovies" for their first Pittsburgh appearance.
