And it's good! Keep kicking that bass drum, interesting choice of drums, real and practically unaltered track of the song. It seems... Voice is real good, try not to fall flat. It shapes rock into metal very naturally.

This is a very well organized heavy metal song. I believe with a little more development this track has the ability to be a great song. I feel the vocals have some work that needs to be done as far as vocal control. Overall a good job.

I love metal and this is true metal. I would love to hear it live. Great guitar solo. The lyrics seem quite interesting. The melody is strong and tuneful. The song is distinctive and original. With some polish could be commercial ready with the right push.

You passed the first test of being able to play this kind of music without being predictable and boring. I definately enjoyed the slow sludgey parts. It seems like you can get more out of the duel vocals, and the lead singers melodies fall off key once in while. That's just a matter of shapening up what's already on a good foundation though.

Now this rocks!!! This IS metal...sounds similar to Alice In Chains or Disturbed..the snare is kinda thin compared the rest of the kit, but the song overcomes that obsticle.

Now all you have to do is go to Seattle and find a time machine that will take you back to 1990!!!

From a technical & analytical angle, the groove seems a bit shaky in parts. Some sections rush & others drag tempo wise. The vocals are too loud, as is the snare drum. Personal taste wise, I really like most of the guitar riffs. The Creed & Rage Against the Machine influenced vocals don't work on this track for me. I think there are some really cool guitar ideas in this track, I just don't like how the song is arranged.

Bass Guitar is Not "Useless" :)
I heard Creed in the opening riff "Shoulda been dead on a Sunday morning" all the way. Lots of double bass in the main riff...the chugging (palm muting) reminds me of old Dio. Definitely a heavy eighties vibe in that part ...not always a bad thing :) I'm not usually a fan of the "Cookie monster" scream parts, but I have to say that is the singer's strength. But I don't like the doubling vocal...need to tighten that up. Very distracting when that part comes in and your pitch wavers. Try at least turning that channel down in the mix. You want it to thicken the lead vocal not compete with it. By the 3 minute mark, it is clear that this song needs a chorus. I realize that Zeppelin could get away with no chorus parts usually, but there aren't enough dynamics here to keep the listener from drifting. The arrangement is kinda all over the place. The vibe is there, the ideas are there, just not quite flushed out enough. I like the breakdown. More parts like this would give the song the variety I crave. Wasn't sure I liked the end circling back to the intro, but it works well with this tune. Overall the production was decent. Vocals, drums and guitar were fine...but I couldn't make the bass parts out at all. They must have been all unison to the guitar. That approach works, but it's not the only way. The guitar solo was tasteful...I would like to hear the bass do more.

I love how the track starts of then it goes hard. The arrangements are good song is good, however the vocals need some work, the harmony in off to, sounds like you need to be produced!

OK..first off I try and give everyone a fair listen using a nice set of altec lansing speakers etc... need to work on your mix..the drums though good way over power everything else and take away from the whole vibe, the singer needs to work on hitting the note if that's what you want...

Review of "Useless" by Willie P
Even though I don't feel like the vocals are great, I like this song. It comes on and immediately you feel like you are in for a treat. The style takes you back and even though he sounds like he's in pain, the record feels pretty good. By the end of the track you want to bash in some drums or break a guitar over something because you're rocking out so hard. Good job.

Nothing personal
I Like the way this song starts off. I also like the way it speeds up and slows down. Now I am not a big fan of rock. But this song right here is one of those songs that you catch yourself singing and cant get out of your head. The guitars in this track are on point.. I Like this song...Keep up the good work.

just needs to be cleaned up
As an artist myself I know how hard it is to find time to perfect sound quality. Keep it rockin

This song sounds great. This is obviously a pretty quick recording i'd say. Its probably is a little too long. If you can guys can find a way to find a producer or some one who truly knows how to record you guys i think you'll find your sound to be a whole lot more cleaner instead of jumbled. Keep up the good work!

The song "Useless" sound alright but it could be better. The vocals need to sound wet with a full dynamic to the song. On the chorus it never change on the melody it the same as the verse. This song need more work to it.
