Hello again.
Where's there ISN'T smoke there's FIRE! An unusual thing to say but there's reason.
You see, a few months ago I quit smoking cigarettes and lo and behold I all the sudden I have ALOT extra money on me. I then looked at my current live set list and realized I have a good 9 or more new songs to record. I contacted a local record label in my city to see if there's interest and they said they would listen to it and think about it. Well, with all this newly disposable money I'm determined to make it the BEST recording and the songs to be performed very STRONG! I can't wait to record my newest songs like "Girl, I Came Back Here" or "Sex Before Suicide" or "I Want to Kiss You (But I'm Scared)". There's a good number more....
And YOU can help me out!!!!!
I'm thinking of calling the new album "Recovery" due to my on-going illness with Schizophrenia. I am also going to release the new songs under my old school Punk name JohNNy SiZZle. Your listening to my tunes is helping me out plenty but you can assist me in another way too. Help me decide what photos to use for the new CD album cover. I left a couple pictures in this note to look at. I have thousands of photos to choose from so don't feel uncomfortable to criticize. Feel free to give me other ideas. Check them out and let me know what's up!
Once again big ups for listening to my songs. Perhaps we'll meet one day when I travel to play live shows though at the moment I'm not allowed to travel by myself outside my country but who knows maybe one day.....

Hi to all here on N1M who have checked out my songs. I'm pretty grateful for it. There's good reason for it. I started out strictly playing Folk Punk back in the early 1990's and continued on to 2004 (under the stage name JohNNy SiZZle) until I developed Schizophrenia Psychosis. I didn't get well enough to perform music again until recently in late 2012. It's been a hard road for me. Maybe you can hear it in my songs, I don't know, but I can say I went through the 90's pretty much being one of only 2 guys playing Folk Punk in my country of Canada. There's been SO MANY times I was brashly told "What are you doing with yourself?!?!?" or "Stop playing your stupid songs!?!?!". So many people trying to shame me as a creative individual and maybe through YOU out there listening to my recent song writing can say "stick it up your ass" to all those past aggressors depressors. I really am humbled (humbled in a good way, not the Iron Sheik way, if you were wonderin') that people in the United States, Australia, all over Europe and other places Earthly have listened and enjoyed my tunes. You know, just for that I'm going try to give everybody here a FREE SONG. Enjoy listening to "Psycho or a Lover". In closing I once again thank you all for listening to my stuff and big thumbs up if you tell others about my Folk Punk music. You're all awesome sauce to me!

Hi! I'm Martin R. Howell, a songwriter from Winnipeg, Canada. I've been informed by (expired link) that you have listened to my tunes.
Just yesterday while I was chatting with a work mate at the radio station I do show out of we were saying how we never thank listeners enough for listening. (expired link) To that, I say thanks alot in regards to my songs. I've been working at it for a good bit of time and it makes me feel fresh knowing some people out there are hearing the songs.
I'm pretty new to putting my music up on the internet and I'm fascinated to know how it will go but more so if I'll connect with like minded people. Maybe one day we all meet and have a few laughs perhaps even have a hearty jam together.

About Martin R. Howell
Martin R. Howell is one of the most bizarre singer/songwriters to ever come out of Canada and you can hear it in his songs that this is no understatement. .There is something that should get out there first. He started out under the stage name JohNNy SiZZle being a local TV show host when he was a teenager in late 80's/early 90's. After the TV show was finished in 1994 it was full blast playing shows, touring and putting out cassette tapes. Martin R. Howell used the name JohNNy SiZZle for more than 22 years. In the 2000's Howell completely slowed down but lately has be very active performing locally more than 8 times a year and open to playing shows in other cities. 2012 saw Martin R. Howell put out his first CD (under the name JohNNy SiZZle) in over 8 years. There was another long play release in February 2014 titled "Lover or a Psycho". Just recently Martin has put another new release in May of 2015 naming it "Whatever Endeavor" with songs "Duh Jets", "Teenage Slutz" and "She's Going Down". It's getting good radio air-play in his native Canada. If you want just write to him and he'll mail it to you.
