Marty Martin Presents "Feels Like Sunday Morning
Marty Martin, born and raised in the small town of West Memphis, Arkansas, has always had a love for God's people and gospel music. Being the baby of the family and having four older siblings who all had a gift for music, Marty was destined to follow suit. While becoming a band student and mastering the saxophone, Marty thought that was all there was to music. However, at the early age of 12 years old, he discovered his voice and knew he had a gift to sing. He began singing in his church youth choir soon to become a lead singer with a powerful voice. His love for gospel music began to flourish and he continued to polish his gift of singing.
Growing up in the local church, Marty Martin wanted to develop his gifts. At the tender age of 18, Marty Martin graduated high school and was awarded a full music scholarship to the University of Memphis. It was during this time he joined the University gospel choir and met a young man by the name of O'Landa Draper. Min. O'Landa Draper was a national recording artist who commanded his own choir, The Associates, that was like no other; known for his electrifying directing and the choirs unique sound and style. Marty Martin decided to audition for O'Landa Draper's Associates and he made it!
Now being a member of the Grammy, Dove, and Stellar award winning choir, Marty Martin was afforded to opportunity to travel the world while ministering through song and worked with many artist such as Kenny Rogers, Yolanda Adams, and Shirley Ceasar, just to name a few.
At the age of 19, Marty Martin was called into the ministry and began to pastor his first church at the age of 21. He soon began hosting conferences throughout the city and his own ministry, Faith2Favor Ministries, was soon birthed into life. His motto for the ministry says, "If you can find faith in God, God will find favor in you!"
God has allowed Min. Marty Martin to not only write music for himself but also write and publish music for other artist in the surrounding area.
