Rosa Rocks - A Rock Instrumental featuring two renowned musicians, Rosa Avila and Jerry Mack! I wrote this song based upon Rosa's drum beat (she's a world renowned session drummer). She rocks it! We tray now to give you some ideas about the show we would like to do.

We are a couple of Italian artists and Mat&AleCo® is our art ID; Matteo Licitra and Maria Alessandra Columbu. Maria Alessandra painter and she uses linen canvasses and special colours invented by her recipe with a mix with sugar, China ink and other natural materials. The result is quite tridimensional with different appearance on the front and back sides. If light is passing though the linen you have another visual effect.

I’m now piano performer after an experience from dance and sounding sculptures done with aluminium and/or bronze casting. I always improvise and my music was called Atonal. I will take performing inspiration from the Maria Alessandra’s painted canvasses and the energy coming from the audience.

The title we would like to titolate the event is “Calcium Carbonate, Molecular Fracture in the Human Rights”. Our aim is to minimise repulsion interacting by humans adopting music and shape in a way that what happens becomes determination to be happy also when things doesn’t work.
Calcium Carbonate is also powder of white marble coming from Carrara in Italy.

Part of the installation together with Maria Alessandra’s canvasses will be a pile of jute bags full of this powder, approx. 1kg weight each, numbered and signed.

Needs:

Layout of the venue.

For my performance a baby grand piano or standard vertical one. If real piano is non available I could play a amplified keyboard.

Usually there should be two music performances, one at opening and other at finishing.

Recording, filming and photographing the performance & art installation are welcomed and we require one free copy for our archives and to promote both foundation/gallery and our artwork.

We should decide together timing of exhibit, how many and dimensions of the canvasses, how many bags full of white marble powder for the installation in situ.

We will bring them a reasonable time before the opening to set up with you a perfect installation.

We are used to be freely hosted.

We would like know your opinion and the rules to be fulfilled.

If needed selling prices, possible insurance, transportation and travelling expenses should agreed in writing.

I had various jam sessions with great musicians as Freddie Hubbard, John Cage, Don Buchla, and others.

Maria Alessandra is also interior & landscape designer, I’m architect and strategic marketing consultant. I got different experiences in projecting district heating networks, as business developer, and as diplomatic foreign affairs consultant.

Maria Alessandra together with me are capable and we have already done a number of contemporary art events and speeches world wide.
