Maxwell DA Poet was born and raised in the Nations Capital where he discovered a passion for making words rhyme and using the art of poetry as a form of self expression. Through life's trials and tribulations his outlet was his poetry because it helped him deal with the harsh realities of inner city life. After high school, and starting in 1996 he began reciting poetry live and on air at WPGC 95.5 during the Love Talk Poetry Hour from 10pm to 12am every Thursday night. As he got older and further developed his love for music he ventured in the Hip Hop and R&B realm which helped in blossom into the artist he is today. His latest project "The Sinner & The Saint just released on Thanksgiving Day is sure the grab the hearts and minds of all who love great music.
