Hi! My name is Melanie, I'm 26 years old, and I love singing about life. I've written over 50 songs, and started writing when I was 13 and taught myself guitar. My guitar quickly became my sidekick through life as I sang about whatever came to my head. I recently recorded several songs in a studio, and would love for you to hear them! ((expired link)) I've loved performing ever since I could walk down my stairs and put on a show for anyone who would watch, but usually it was just my mom filming me for hours as I sang and danced my way through the day. My influences are Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, but I also love all kinds of music and am influenced by whatever I hear that I love. What sets me apart is my love for music, and my dream to perform on a huge stage in front of hundreds of thousands of people. It's been a dream since I was 2 years old waking up my house at 8 am to sing and dance in my crib. It's what I have always envisioned for myself and I can't see a better life path than that. Music has gotten me through the ups and downs of everyday life, and it will continue to.
