IT TOOK SOOO LONG, IT TOOK SOO MUCH, AT TIMES IT SEEMED SOOO GOOD, AND AT TIMES IT WAS AND IT HURT SOOO BAD.....SOME THINGS THROUGHOUT MY LIFE I PAID TOOO MUCH FOR, AND SOME THINGS I PAID TOOO LITTLE FOR, BUT, THE THINGS IN MY LIFE THAT MEANT THE MOST TO ME I DID NOT PAY AT ALL FOR.....THEY WERE NOT MATERIALISTIC....IT WAS COMPANIONSHIP, CLOSE RELATIONSHIPS, CARING, RESPECT, AND UNQUESTIONABLE LOVE.

As we live our lives we will more-so-than-not get romantically involved with someone, someone we are very attracted to, someone we wish to have a meaningful, gratifying, and honest relationship with.....we tend to let our emotional guards down, we tend to be more receptive and believing in this other person because they are so special to us and mean so very much to us.....yes, simply put, we are smitten by them, we are totally in love with them, and there is nothing we would not do for them. And this can be so beautiful, so wonderful, so fulfilling until such time we realize that we have been so terribly deceived by them......
It's a very difficult situation to face, a very difficult situation to swallow, and a very difficult situation to get over, but we must, we must quietly, peacefully, and humbly move on.....we must not allow 'a love deceit' to destroy us, we have to be better than that, we have to make the best of that horrific love experience...I have and I am so much better for it....May you be also if ever you are torn by it .

If I can only say, in all honesty, that I have written, recorded, and produced songs that have been heard, played, appreciated, understood, and enjoyed Globally. Songs that, in some ways, touched the hearts, souls, minds, and emotions of people of many backgrounds, of many races, of all ages, of different religious beliefs, and of opposing political affiliations and views. And if I, at any point at any time, found common threads that are relative and meaningful to some part of life, and if any word or words in my many songs caused anyone to reflect on, to feel, to more consciously understand themselves, to better deal with a life experience or someone in their life..... It would only be then that I could honestly say that I accomplished my life's mission through my work in music !!!

I have over the past many years written and recorded so many songs about so many things. Things that I have personally experienced as well as things I have witnessed other's experiencing. Music to me is an expression of life's true emotions and feelings being expressed through beat, melody, and lyrics by an artist not unlike an artist who expresses himself on a canvas with paint brushes and colors...……….these are the "SEEDS OF LIFE"....creativity, expression, communication, and understanding.
My current music orchard is abundant, the result of having planted many "MUSIC SEEDS OF PLENTY"....never old, always ripening and ready for consumption......yes...."GOT THIS TOO" !!!!!
I can only hope we can all find the means and ability to express what we sincerely feel is our "LIFE SEEDS OF PLENTY" !!!!!

I really don't know how to even begin this message. I am truly conflicted, twisted, and somewhat confused over all that is happening in this country. America has always had it's social/economic/political challenges, but, in all of my many, many years of living through them, I have never before experienced such open hatred, evil, vile racism and a Governing body that turns a blind eye and deaf ear to social tragedies and acts of racially motivated Domestic Terrorism.
It's disappointing, it's uncomfortable, and it's unfortunate.
My creativity has been directed to the darker side of reality...as I refuse to be naïve about the truth, the condition and position of this current political and social climate..I only hope and pray that better days are ahead for all of us..... This track consequently reflects my position and my take looking at the whole picture from about thirty thousand feet above !!!!!
GOD BLESS US ALL and help those remissed of love, empathy, and compassion !!!

Amazing at it may sound, yesterday I celebrated my seventy third, yes my 73rd Birthday. I can't even begin to fathom where the years and the time has gone. This caused me to reflect on one of the most significant aspects of my life......my music !!!!!
My music has given me so much. It has grounded me and saved me many times when I lost my way, my grip, my prospective, my normality. It has given me the vehicle and the means to express the truths within me....the truths I feel about myself, the truths I feel about others, and the truths I have come realize about my world and the world at large
It only seemed appropriate to do a track acknowledging some historical facts about how, when, and where this really first came about, and for me to acknowledge that I'm still down with it.....I still feel very good about it.....and.....even at seventy three (73) years young......I still got that flow !!!!!
I sincerely hope all of you have and will continue to "have your flow" for many, many years to come !!!!!

My Mother passed away on March 25, 2019 ...she was ninety-three (93) years of age. I was by her bedside when she passed, I was, in fact, by her bedside for the last year of her life.
Unlike the tragic, very unexpected murder of my nineteen (19) year old son "MayMay" in 2009, I foolishly thought I was better mentally prepared for my Mother's passing in-as-much as I was well aware that she would be leaving..... her long lived life would soon be coming to it's end.
I fully realize now that regardless to how, why, or when someone you truly love leaves you...it truly hurts...it's truly painful...and it's truly sad.
Life is a very uncertain journey, and I can only suggest that we do our utmost to live as full, as good, and as loving as we possibly can.....EMBRACE EVERY DAY AND EVERY OPPORTUNIY YOU HAVE TO SHOW YOUR LOVE AND YOUR CARING FOR ALL THE ONE'S IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU TRULY LOVE....THAT IS THE ONLY TRUE CONSULATION YOU WILL HAVE TO HELP ABSORB YOUR HURT AND YOUR PAIN WHEN THEY ARE NO LONGER HERE WITH YOU !!!!
