Free Your Music Mind Not long ago I watched a Korean soap opera. It was sophisticated, fun, funny and very engaging - no car chases or pyrotechnics. During the show, a brief, gorgeous piece of music emerged. I chased that music down for months. I had no title or lyrics to go by. Just a brief, captivating melody. I started lurking around Apple Music looking under Korean shows, Korean soundtracks, etc. Because of this musical search I began to discover other terrific songs and melodies in the R&B, Soul, Pop categories. Often these tracks were a blend of these genres - and I LOVED them! Now, I have an entire 10 hour playlist that accompanies me on my travels and throughout my day when I want a sophisticated, sultry (but not explicit) song. The original hunt for song led me to a track called, "Scent" by Korean artist, Sam Kim, which I listen to regularly. Follow your heart and your musical mind and let them both wander outside your Norm. To this day, I don't understand the lyrics. But, who cares? The song speaks to me in any language.
