Hey there fans and subscribers, thank you so much for helping place my song, American Girl, at #1 Power Pop song in the USA! I wrote this song years ago after 9/11 when I struggled to come to grips with world around me. When I awakened in the middle of the night on September 12, 2011 the lyrics came like like thunderous rain and the only way to translate my feelings was to rush to find a pen (I actually found a crayon instead) and led the feelings simply flow. I say this to all the songwriters, recording artists, musicians out there... gather the rain that gathers in your head and heart.
