Song Reviews
Affection by Metaloyd
This song has such a nice feel to it.. reminds me of the '70s. That is not a bad thing mind you, it is not easy to recapture the texture of an era gone by, but Metaloyd has certainly managed to do do it in this cool and spacey instrumental. Not what I expected from the band's name, but not disappointing by any means. I like this song very much. And anyone who truly appreciates music will too. Good job guys. I like it so much I think I'll listen again! I will be more than happy to review songs for you any time.

Metaloyd - Affection
This song reminds me a lot of the eagleseagles mixed a little with Pink Floyd. Its a very enjoyable song and I think a lot of time went into this creation. Very talented musician and deserves a thumbs up.

Virtuoso Guitar Instrumental
Hats off to you sir, what a splendid soulful guitar piece. There are shades of The Eagles and hints of Eric Clapton in this great instrumental performance. I am green with envy at your amazing ability and would like to hear more from you. I don't normally listen to instrumentals but this one had me hooked from the start and kept me interested throughout so whilst it might seem long on first look, it just sails along fine.

Not really into rock the beat really captures my attention. It's like its telling a story without the words ,I love the melody. I could hear it on the radio.

Nice work man! guitar work is nice - sweet tone. I would have liked to hear a little better groove from the drummer, but it wasn't bad at all. you could bring the bass out in the track a little more, your guitar is a little out front. great song you sound good.

Review of Affection by Metaloyd.
This track has potential but needs a few things. First the solo guitar needs to be smoother. It sounds a little apprehensive. If you are going to do an instrumental ballad the guitar needs to blow people away. There are some real nice melody lines here that bring Jeff Beck to mind but the track needs to climax instead of just rambling on. I like the keyboard parts also. The drums also should be more dynamic and exciting. It's not a bad track but you could do so much more with it.

Good Song Good Potential
As I was listening to this song one of the first things that I thought to myself nice melody, and I could hear the potential of this song to get placed for a commercial, or in a sound library, but what would rob the potential of this song is production quality. One of the most common made mistakes by independents today is not making sure that their production standards are up to par, this is important if you want an A&R to listen for more than 3 seconds. If this song was properly recorded, mixed, and mastered I would definitely start submitting it to publishers, sound libraries, and music supervisors.

Affection is in a chill out style of guitar playing I love.
I really like the blues, you really capture something here. I hear new music all the time, this piece is unforgettable. The guitars tone itself I find very impressive. I wish you the best of luck with any and all future plans.

emotion...
This song appropriately titled could have also been called emotion, as it had a lot of emotion in it! Dug it! Great guitar playing, loved the progressions and the reverb effects. This tune had a joe satriani feel and expressed true passion and commitment. Keep up the great work!!

Oh, what a tune!
Amazing, just amazing, the intro, the guitar. I remembered Rainbow's "Maybe Next Time"! My only remark is that the keyboards could be better and with a little reverb. Otherwise I can listen to it all day! Very good job! I'm giving you 5 rate and I don't give it often, believe me. By the way you should write in the genres 'instrumental' also, so the listener can be prepared! Keep rockin' and good luck! Cheers, Donnie Donkov

Review for AFFECTION
very nice melodic guitar intro but the drums feel a little weak, piano is very beautiful also... Really feel the leads.. nice arrangement on everything, but as we said earlier the drums could use a little more beefing up other then that its BEAUTIFUL ... cheers RnFnR
