Haunting
I think you achieved the haunting effect you wanted to get. The instruments come in and out with a nice flow. Guitar solo is very good. It does seem to drag a little. I think it is because the drummer keeps the back beat with the snare and is alwayse on the down beat. A little syncopation or swinging on the upbeat would break up the momotone feel and add more interest without taking away from the haunting feel of the song. Not much of a bass part in there but it works well without one. Very good effort all in all.

Interseting introduction with good piano and rain effect. Good synthesizer brings through ambiance. Drums relaxed at this point. Thunder in the distance cool. Like the way drums are used as the guitar picks up. Great use of the vocals. Interesting vocals though; I guess they are in French. Threw me off ( I speak English) Very epic. The song Haunts me Relaxed guitar slinging really works as the intro to a great solo. Love the haunted feeling throughout. I'm gonna give you a five because even though I don't speak the same language…It was great.

It was a pleasure to write a review for this song;well done!
Nice intro, creates an expectative. So,music grows and leads to something... Then music shifts from "Cluster One" to Rammstein. Still capture attention, very good chorus, bridge is a bit longer; I would chop it a little. An excellent solo follows, framed by a melancholic and well balanced background. Another tip,is to turn synth down,to a more ambient atmosphere,it's much at foreground, and dosen't cause the effect it should do. In overall aspects,it's a great track, with excellent solos. It was a pleasure to write a review for it. Well done, congrats: GWB70

Sick Mind by Metaloyd
Just from the title, I had a feeling I would like this song. It has a great engaging intro... mellow and spacey. I really enjoy music that builds up to more than you expect. I also like songs that go back and forth between the two. Very good guitar work, slightly spooky vocals..all in all a very good song. You hardly notice that it is over seven minutes long. Although radio stations usually don't put into rotation songs more than four and a half minutes, unless you are Metallica, I think this song could get airplay. I wish this band much success in their music and hope they will be heard by more than just those of us here on NumberOneMusic.

Sick Mind - Review
Metalyod's song "Sick Mind," begins like a soundtrack for a film or television show. It then transitions into a song in the English vibe of a modern Pink Floyd or Eurhythmics. Ozzy would like this one as well. Very nice guitar playing. And I also like that the vocals are honest and up front where they belong. Good work !!!

Metaloyd- Sick Mind review
The opening of this tune sounds like the score to a scary movie. Then it turns into what I would call British theatrical rock. It has it's moments, but needs something. The musicality is good meaning the execution is presented well. It begins to get interesting at the guitar break. It almost takes on a Pink Floyd sound at that point in the track. The track is a little sluggish and long overall. That's fine for some but it is not my cup of tea.

Dark but cool
Has a very long build up as it builds to the vocals. Not a music genre I generally would listen too but this is ok and could use as a sports suspense type bed in the background. Its interesting to hear the diversity of all the musical genres in Canada. I expect these guys to have a loyal following within their circles.

interesting
that's pretty crazy sounding but in a good way. my only critique is clip the super long intro. I like that sound though. its like nirvana, manson and Jethro tull all mixed together. pretty unique for today's music where it seems like everyone is generic and alike. Keep up the good work bro. its not gonna be easybut you got a good sound and ppl need to hear it so they know that the bullshit out today is not all that's left! keep blasting my guy

Mix of sound & impressions
The intro entices one into the track, and when the synth and vocals kick in, it makes me feel like they both should be stronger, bolder... lead guitars are rightfully attention-grabbing, they seem to be the strongest feature, compliments. The entire nearly 7 and a half minutes of sound could have been overrun with effects and affects, but the orchestration is just within bounds, well done!! Nice overall sound, would like if synth were less synth-sounding, and vocals Stronger! Otherwise, would be curious to hear other works to see what happens in those .. Good luck!

I love the intro !!
Hi, what a nice intro, i love rain and storm with this progressive drums going swoly to tempo. But sorry after the rain is not really my cup of tea. Guitars are welldone and also the backround effect, i just have a little problem with the tone of your voice when you sing notes, but not when you talk then you have a deep low voice. The structure all over the tune is OK. Good continuation, sounds good anywhere. Cordially Sal

Well now .... Throw back to early Floyd days
When I was growing up in the suburbs outside of NYC, I listened to the album Meddle ... The comparison is obvious, so I'm sure you won't mind. I enjoy the blues based rock guitar playing here, and the "public be damned" attitude of musical expression unconcerned with the top 40 star making machine ... Well done Boys. Keep making songs with imagery and stories and be noticed for who you are. Cheers!
Metaloyd - Sick Mind
I think the musicianship is pretty good, the guitar player is talented. That being said, The intro was way to long. It didn't keep me, I kept waiting for the song to kick in, and for me it didn't really kick in til the last couple minutes of the song. I thought the vocals had potential, but they were dry and a little to out front. I can tell you have have some talent and great ideas. keep it up I think you guys definitly have something to work with, it just needs some more polish.

Good Piece of Music
I like the music in this track, it is very well put together..kind of reminds me of classic 70's..however I would shorten the lead in as it is too long, some listeners may give up on it before the magic starts. Also the vocals are a little hard to hear in places and are a little off key/flat in some spots, I would re-do the vocals, make them a little stronger and clearer. This has definite potential stick with it! Remember in life that the #SkiesTheLimit and #MusicNeverDies it just evovles!
