listen to some nice shredding. this is the song for you. i would have liked to hear a little screaming maybe, but the guitar is excellent. the rhythm section is clean but i want that guitar more out front like a lead singer. sometimes in bands it gets muddled whose performance is being featured and this might be the case here.this a guitar song and the keyboards don't add to my enjoyment of this nicely composed piece of music. sometimes less is more. what i'm left with at the end of this composition is feeling a bit lost as to the intent of the writer(s). it's good as far as it goes however.

This Song has alot of positive things which includes the musicianship and creativity. It for me needs vocals because a song without words only has half a story to tell.The ambience from the beginning is excellent with a dark moody feel to it. The build up is very progressive and effective and the guitar work is great. Also the drums are cool. Just missing a voice to be an awesome song!!

When this song started out it reminded me a lot of early Sabbath. I was waiting for some strong guitar and it finally showed up! Some deep lyrics would put this song on a new level. A nice piece of work!

I have stated before that I really like Metaloyd. Metaloyd is Sergii Pylypenko's project, a one-man band wonder who seems to have a love for the stylings of Pink Floyd, one of my favorite bands also! "Per Aspera Ad Astra" is Latin, and means ""Through hardships to the stars", and guaranteed this tune takes you there! With its ominous opener, the songs builds with excellent bass & driving rhythms, and soaring guitar leads and other instrumental embellishments which, since the song clocks at 6:48, it still manages to keep my interest! This is one tune that I personally would have beeen proud to have produced. Go Metaloyd!!
