Adjusting and re-adjusting ... Hello everyone and it's my pleasure to be on it again. I hope your holidays are beginning with love, joy, expectations and excitement. During this time of year many will be traveling, returning home for some, others will be going to new places they have never been before meeting new friends and family. The one thing we'll all have in common is we'll all be listening to some sort of entertainment medium. Whether it be radio, tv or an assortment of other devices, music will play a big role in our travels and lives at this time. For some it will be an avenue to think others an inspiration of happiness and even others a way through feelings of hurt or unhappiness. Many stats are taken during this most vulnerable time of year. Let's not be one! No matter how you may look at it, music will be doing what it does, meeting a need. During these holidays allow music to be an adjustment in your life. Allow those "on time lyrics" to sooth your soul and "adjust " whatever may be going on in your life. Prepare you for anything that may arise. If your happy, allow it to make your happier. If your sad, allow it to bring you up to a place where love and happiness belongs. I personally believe that music can solve many ills of this world. It can "adjust" an otherwise distorted world view. So during this time, enjoy, love, live and let music light the way. Til next time, Happy Holidays from my family to your.

Hello everyone!!! It is my pleasure to be writing this installment of Michael Egleton Music to you, the reader. I'm excited to be creating once again. As you see , there are a few videos to songs I had released earlier, coming forth. I'm keeping a promise I made to some of my fans and listeners who were wondering why I hadn't made videos to certain songs I had released to complete the story behind them. To bring more life to the music. I am one who believes no matter how mature a song may grow, it can yet grow even more! Every time I'd play some songs, listen to some of the songs or even prepare to post certain songs, they just didn't feel complete. So I took a chance and went on a venture to complete the story of these songs.
I made a decision to start completing the visual story to certain selections that begged for the story to be completed. Even if it didn't have lyrics. There were some selection that were instrumentals but required a picture of what that song was trying to portray. The affect the song could have on an individual listener if they would allow it.

of which the video will be coming soon, is a video describing a night gone terribly wrong after a fight between two people in love. As the song goes on it says, "..... Had a rough night, Had a big fight, Said some things that were not right.... It's a Situation. The night gets worse as a trip to the bar provides opportunities for one to get in an even worse Situation. The end of the song provides a question of who's bed will morning find one in. The music is dramatic, emotional and telling the tale of woe over an elegantly sparse arrangement. “Jumped in my car, went to the bar…” A dim lit bar room creaks as you enter. The gloom is cold welcome. Warmth is a shot glass. Gin’s no tonic for what ails you. ..Thoughts war within – threatening to escape to reality transforming into actions. The eyes of the other interest come into view as you stand making eye contact and you franticly look for her before dropping change on the bar and leaving... Who wouldn't want to make this scene visual?
The making of this video was time consuming and very emotional those to involved in it's making. After all we're human too. Things ran across our minds also. When I say emotional, that's exactly what I mean. As ones would view the prints of each trial rendition, to see the motion this video evoked from each person was simply amazing, to say the least... I saw everything from anger, shock to just ambivalence. This made true the fact that this story needed a visual point of mental contact to make it real in ones mind. To know this very thing is happening everyday and could very well happen to them. At least that's how it was imagined in their mind. Some had it actually happened to them in real life, just the way it was portrayed in the video! Situations The Video was shown to a married family member and she became irate and stormed out of the viewing area without a word!
This is what's meant when I say, ' Music for the Body..." "Music from the Soul.." Music of the Heart..." Music reaching the inner most being. An association to the realness of life.
So as you see this is just one of the songs videos that has been or is being prepared to be release. There has been two other video releases, Stank Wound Up and Pop Rewound which are also emotional moving but in a very different way. One makes you want to drive as some of the listeners expressed and the other causes you to pat a foot or even dance! So get ready, Michael Egleton Music plans to go through your ear hole and massage your mind!

Hello to everyone! I hope in this time of COVID19 this writing finds you well and healthy doing the right things to protect yourself and others. Many have paid an underserved price after contracting this terrible disease.
I know many who have been just been blind sided as a result of this disease and it's effects on the economy. I know many musicians who were once able to actually make a living from the music they made now have had to take employment where they could find it only to have it whisked away by layoffs and furloughs. Mentally this has been a debilitating haze. Head aches...... Let's just say I'm planning on purchasing stock in Tylenal once things get right! I guess I've gotten to the point like the song says, "Don't Nobody Bring Me No Bad News"!
In these times I do have great news!!! My new book is now available at Amazon, Kindle, Barnes and Nobles and book stores everywhere. It will soon be coming to AudioBook!

There! I made it easy!
This was a labor of love for me to write. It was also very therapeutic. I settled many things in my mind. I faced up to many things through the writing of this book. I learned things about myself I would have never known if I hadn't written this book. It was a deep look into my own relationship with my wife, being an artist and understanding her side and more about why my 40 year marriage almost ended because of the music. How we persevered and chose not to be a statistic. So as you see there were many areas of my life covered in my book. My co-writer, Ms Constance Quigley (expired link)., publisher, Blie-Artists, and I did our best to make it an easy, comfortable read with also being careful as to not watering down the impact and realness of my life. My objective as a writer was as in my music to affect you in way that moves you to a more positive plain. To share something that may incite thought, touch your emotions, change a life in a positive way. Nothing more than that. To make my story also known and recorded among the many. Hopefully something I've said in my book will provide an answer or change of direction that will be a help in you reaching your highest potential and highest level of success. In this book I not only share my life and music but also my thoughts. My thoughts on relationship and artistry and my challenges that arose in my relationship with my love interest as an artist. I talk about parts of my life that were kept to myself until this book. Yes, others will be finding out things about my life along with you the reader. This will be the first in other books that are planned so stay tuned! It's my sincerest hope in reading this entry, you will give the book a chance. Hello everyone. I’d first like to say Happy New Year for 2019 and wish the best for you and yours in the upcoming year. Coming for 2019 will be many new things like a new book coming early 2019. An autobiography of my personal journey in life and music. There are books that you read, then there are stories which become a beverage that you drink and allow that consumption to fill the voids we may face along the way. You’ll also see this writing on the front cover of the new offering from Michael Egleton. This book is not your normal life story. In the book I not only talk about music but I also talk about my life journey which is where the music came from and through. How life shaped the songs that I write. In this story I’ll go deep into my personal life and talk about hot button issues of today and how they happened also in my life.
I’ll deal with the blood, sweat and tears of making music. The cost that many don’t talk about. Behind the music… The losses, the affects on my relationship, the many directions my life has taken in this love journey of music and more. We’ll explore my personal history from a child to an adult and how my life has been influenced with a sprinkling of advice as we go along. I’ll even be talking about personal instances that I’ve never revealed to the public. I’ll be real with you the reader. These are just a few of the things in the book you’ll have to read to know the rest!
Also coming for 2019 will be new music! New producers along with my main stays. I’ve already released two new singles, Situations which has been in the TOP 20 with many radio music station charts since it’s release and is currently #17 with Radio Indie International World Wide and Petruzzi Entertainment in Italy and Europe. Also Love Song which you can at my web site.
We’ll be finishing the long awaited project, In The Q and starting a new project for 2019. There will be interviews, new pictures and concerts. All will be new for 2019! We’ve jumped in head first to get things done. I along with my co-author and soon to be, Dr Constance Quigley, who also keeps the trains running on time for Michael Egleton Music. This year we’re going to push the new clothing lines from Michael Egleton Music. Shirts, hats, sporting wear which will be offered in many sizes and color combinations and more! As you see much is to come for 2019.
The last year and a half has been a journey for me personally. Much will be addressed in the book. During this time I was tested to the very core of my being. There were highs and lows. Very low… I had even decided to step away from music all together. Tested to point of having to listen to my own music to make it through. I held on to a song as my song “Hold On To A Song” said to do.
Like the Good book says, “This too shall pass….” It did and now I have a new perspective on life. A new appreciation. A new apathy towards life situations and the people who persevere through their journeys. This fire and emotion will show in my upcoming music writing and my touching the people who choose to follow what I do. As you feel me I’ll really feel you in a new way. I'm thinking about all of the great music listeners musicians and artists here at N1M! I just wanted to stop by and say thank you and that I appreciate you all so. Without you, there is no me. Why do I write music? To touch and change a life. To give an option to what my be causing pain. To invite happiness in. Life is real. Many things are experienced in this life journey. The touch of music can provide a light to the pathway you may be walking. My music is an extension of my life. A slice of my journey. I write and sing about experiences that are real in my life in the hopes that because of it's authenticity, it will touch and reach the listener to provide an answer of life.
