Dear Listener!

In the grand experience we call life we travel through this three dimensional creation feeling, seeing, growing, holding, grieving, loving, longing, hoping, healing, crying, laughing, and doing our best to be who we are and live the life we are here to live. On our journey we pray we may be blessed with reciprocal love. Love with enough in common to encourage a unified path and direction. To experience the joy of redamancy and open our hearts to loving fully, and being loved back in kind to help heal the old wounds from the painful knife of unrequited love. Love with enough differences to maintain challenge for growth, to continue its dance across the stepping stones of stagnation.

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I am very grateful for your kind words you have shared about this music and the fact that you are listening and following this project. I am sending this letter in gratitude and to share with you my personal story.
My name is Michael Basil. I am the lead energy on the project Michael LightBringer. I have authored the lyrics to the songs we have released up to this point and am the lead vocalist. I have been extraordinarily lucky to have such amazing musician friends available to help me create these songs for you to listen to.
Over the past four or five years I have experienced heart break and divorce, debilitating illness and dark depression and bankruptcy while being a week on week off working single father of two amazing children. I also attended a year and a half course of schooling in an ancient Japanese healing art called Hoshindo. You can read all about it at (expired link) This past summer I graduated and have now opened my own practice. I am grateful to begin putting a career in construction behind me while embracing my new vocation as a healer.
I am sharing all of this with you as a word of encouragement. Times are hard for many people and the planet. I know. Stay strong. Pray for healing and guidance. The spirits are listening and eager to help. Their help is subtle. Please don’t give up.
I am endeavoring to release more recordings from the living room. They will have LR in front of the title to let you know it is a rougher recording. Most likely most of them will be a cappella. I am also working on putting together more high quality recordings to offer up for sale.
