Thoughts
i dig it. its everything funk (in my opinion) should be. the back and forth of slap bass and fingered makes it very interesting as ear candy. The guitar was perfectly matched with the bass and the vocal styling gave it a hint of rock. All around a good song except for one, easily fixable thing. The intro was extremely long and repetitive. the sound was good just too long. I think if you trim the intro down, no one will skip this song!

Mad Skills
Wow, someone is showing some mad skills on Bass. The whole Band sounds tight as one unit. There is a lot of talent in this Band. I do think the recording sound could be a little cleaner. That is not to say it is bad, just a little muffled in a few parts. The vocals sound good, but maybe that was not as clean, as I thought it could be. Overall, this band is really good, with something to say. Keep kicking it! Sincerely Edward Westbrook

Smiling From Deep Down ;-)
I have to give you 5☆ for the intro!! For two reasons #1 It was totally Original; The Synchronization and Dynamics were Profoundly Amusing. I will know this song at first Note! Anytime, Anywhere . This song should be at the beginning of a set only because as soon as it starts it's recognizable! Your audience will fire up the Bics right away!! #2 I kept thinking "They're not gonna let her SING" I searched for you band in the review bin!! Just so I compliment that Awesome Voice. Again clearly recognizable at first gritt. I'm a fan and as soon as I'm done here I will Subscribe. You have something hard to find in today's musical gene pool CHEMISTRY!! ☆Great Fun Intro, ☆Awesome Vocals ☆Admirable Musicianship ☆Quality Lyrics ☆CHEMISTRY =5☆ =SLAP BACK Thanks for the Smile. ~Ã ₩ Ź~

Awesome
You guys never cease to amaze me. I thought it was just a Bass guitar solo 'all the way' song when it started, but you came into it with the rest of the gang. I 'do' think the intro solo may have been a little too long, though. You might want to cut it just a little bit and come in sooner....but it 'was' surprising when you did. The guitar riffs all the way thru the song are 'great', and the solo at the bridge came off nicely, too. "SLAPBACK" ....is a must hear band!....

Another great funk rocker from Slapback.
Starts off with a very intricate bass lead. Showing Mastery of the instrument. Could be a little shorter to capture the song leadin. Just my opinion. The vocal track is right in the pocket. Love the Timber of her voice. Unique and all her own. The lyrics were well written and un confusing. It's a message we all can relate to. Things do, when they come back around, come back twice as hard and twice as fast. I've sure been there. The guitar work is quite tasty. it has that 70's fusion feel. It's syncopated rythm and hooky leads complement the bass work so well. What is most important is that the guitar never once overpowers vocals but still makes it's presence known. Very similar to the "Wrecking crew" guys at capitol records. The drummer can swing the beat. Not just a 4 on the floor guy. Lots of switch up from kick drum to snare on the down beat. The drummer keeps it in the pocket and also hits off of the "And" beats. While all the time keeping some type of interesting cymbal work. Very similar to what the Motown boys did. Don't hear that much any more. Especially from just one drummer. The bassman? What can I say? Simply outstanding. Sets up a groove so tight that everyone falls into a "Silk pocket"

Unexpected!
I didn't expect to hear that. It was really nice surprise! You should record it in a studio. I think this record is not. Very nice intro, if can call it that way, it's long, but great. I want to hear more songs from you. I'm giving you high rate. Just one more thing, maybe a little reverb on the vocal? Maybe, I don't know. I wish you good luck and keep rockin' ! Great Potential
This track has the potential to be a great track...good strong voice..music is simplistic in structure but effective..however I would cut the extra long intro out down to just a a couple of bars as its is within the first 30 seconds of hearing a track that the listener decides whether to keep listening or move on and in all honesty I nearly did just that..you maybe missing out on other potential fans/listeners because of this..once the track starts it is a good so;id track, great job! #SkiesTheLimit #MusicNeverDies

Checked Out Twice as hard-Twice as fast…3-30-2015
I went to a bass clinic featuring the bass player from 'Tribal Tech', Your bass player uses much the same technique. You may want to check them out. I don't know how 'cemented' you are in your style but…I would (if I may be so bold) suggest more six string guitar mixed in rather than just the bass solo. Like more rhythm guitar at the same time as the bass. Or maybe the six string doing some crazy scales while the bass and drums are doing a cool groove.

Funktastic!
Overall I like it but I have one suggestion. The intro builds the song up but then it kinda stalls when it actually starts. This is just a small niggle but I think this is because the sixteenths on the hi-hat stop. I think to start with the sixteenths should continue or a tambourine could mimic the rhythm so there isn't a break in it.

"Twice as Hard - Twice as Fast" Review
Good musicianship. The melody and lyrics could have been written better. I would like to play with these guys. I would listen to this. I like the bass and the guitar.

Train is a rolling ,very 3d.
Love this type of interesting yet stimulating sounds of compositon, vocals are the cherry on top .It would be nice to put all the bands together from around the world with sort of individuality and expression, and have a world rock bonanza.Mainstream music really needs some slapback in there ears.

Twice as hard
As I was listening to this selection I could tell there are some talented musicians and strong vocals. The beginning is almost to long as an introduction before the real song starts. I really liked when the vocals got a little crunchy and raw. The lyrics are pretty typical but I think it is a good showing.
