Like all my music, they originate from my life experiences. I'm not a person who expresses a lot of emotion, so when I do write an emotional song. It's safe to say I gave more than to shits about it. This song in particular was inspired from a seven year relationship that wasn't easy to walk away from, but just being real. The continuous discord was starting prove unhealthy for us both. So we were able to make a joint adult decision to separate. Even though it may have been hard for us both.
