I've just uploaded songs from my long awaited new CD, Light The Way. There are 8 new songs, all quite different and all recorded in the UK, for a change! Some of the songs are quite poignant and emotive, some have a simple arrangement, some are uplifting, some tongue in cheek. Most are collaborations where I've used lyrics written by friends. I've written all the music. I also have some wonderful backing musicians and singers who have helped create the wonderful songs you will hear. Thank you so much for listening to my songs on here. I always seem to have one song or another in the top 10 every week but this week has been very special. I have 13 songs in the top 15 for the acoustic chart in Florida which is a tremendous achievement! I can only thank all those who continually listen to my songs and hope you will continue to do so.
I've been working on a new batch of songs written and recorded mostly in the UK. They have a different sound to them but I hope you will find them equally attractive to listen to! I have attached one of them and will put the rest on here so I hope you like them.
I will be in Florida from 20th September until 12th December. We have a place in Dunedin so I will be playing in the area if anyone lives around there. I can recommend the Hideaway Cafe on Central Ave in St. Pete as a great venue for seeing great acts. This is where I have recorded most of the songs you hear on here.
