About Mike Dean

A native of Mid-missouri, and growing up a hard rocker, I have followed the lead of Darius Rucker; making the switch from Rock to Country Music. To quote the title of one of my singles, "If Hoo I am an aspiring singer/songwriter. For many years I played in bands that I formed in many different genres, ranging from Hip Hop to Contemporary Christian music. I have always had an affinity for hard rock music, and in fact, spent a good portion of my musical life rocking out to bands such as: Metallica, Styxx, AC/DC, Creed, Dragon Force, and G-N-R, just to name a select few. Today I am well into the genre of Country Music. I still hold true to my rock roots, which you will find in alot of my newest releases. It is my hope that I can rock the nation with my brand of country as well as touch the lives of my listeners with deep, meaningful music. You won't find any "Thong Songs" or Bawitabas" here. Only legitimate songwriting and a passion for music.
