Great Guitar Playing

Great guitar playing. There isn't much room for improvement here except a medley usually isn't a good idea unless people know and have heard the songs you are combining. As it is this piece of music sounds a little disorganised and all over the place. A more structured and organised piece of music with a verse, chorus and bridge etc might win you more fans. Keep up the good work. P.S. I love the keyboard playing on this track. It isn't overdone or overbearing.

Review of "Air Drop Medley"

This track is a truly the music of a great guitar player! I'm not normally one to like or get "amped" by any "elongated solo" on guitar, but this great mix of the bands talent to shine through as well as they do, whilst allowing the guitar to shine. Well thought out changes, needless to say great guitar work....a song I see myself putting in while driving down the highway- Great tune! Respectfully Dave MacDonald/CHRONIC PAIN

Mike Harty's "Air Drop Medley"

Upon first listen to "Air Drop Medley" by California based guitarist Mike Harty, I am reminded of several excellent progressive rock guitar players from the 80's - but that does not mean that Harty's playing is entirely derivative - quite the opposite, actually. He has terrific tone and compositional skills - the arrangement & production here is outstanding as well. Looking forward to hearing more from Mike!

great guitar playing

i really like it, the guitar playing is great but the fact that does not have a live band but programed instruments takes the rock element away from the song. also there are too many changes within the song, you could make three songs out of this one. good job! i recomend working with a producer as that person dont have any emotions towards the song which let him or her think out of the box.

Sounds like fun from the start. Screaming guitars, crazy emotional drummer, and it actually seems as if you are going on an musical ride. I love it! This is a fine example of no words needed. Thanks Magic

Air Drop Medley!!

very cool stuff! love all the changes and all the hot guitar stuff. the medley was also cool a little different flavors of rock and pop.the fade in and outs and segues could have been a little tighter and could have made more sense. great job though man i enjoyed your music! David

I listened to air drop medelly and it does rock. Great guitar work. The tune is good but does need more changes. Again the lead guitar work is very good. The drumming sounds electronic which I don’t like. Best of luck on the future. I appreciate all kinds of music. Yours included. A lot of talent. Feel free to drop by my page and check out my bands songs. Take care

love the intro

Nice power rock intro and Harmony guitars, The solo is powerful as well, Could use the drums up in the mix though. The power chords are nice the bass could be up more in the mix as well . Nice fun song though.

I like the Guitar Play..but arrangement not so much..It is an instrumental piece so is good to play it life at The Concerts.. as You know it is Very Hard to place Instrumental Music to Radio Rotation..if You are Very Famous there is a different story.. so I do not think that Radios will "jump" on it and play in order to place the tune has to be Outstanding with Radio Ready Quality recording ..it is good to put on the Album as a filler .. I do not know any Music Publisher who will use Instrumental Music..but who know try to pitch to Them and let's see what will happen.. I wish You good luck..

Smooth guitar sounds! Really cooking something with the screaming lead there my brother! Love the dirty over-driven rhythm back up that just sets the screaming lead up. Good melody and good break up of song into different parts. Sweet instrumental over all. Love the arpeggiated middle parts. Very smooth and gritty all at the same time. Oh - I also must complement you on your guitar tones. Whoah - drop out breakdown caught me off guard there bro! Solid piece of guitar sweetness bro!

What a wild guitar entrance to this song. Definitely got the category right with Rock. Not sure how this classifies as "Christian" rock other than another label to throw on here. The production and mixing sounds great on the stereo. I'm a little lost with everything thrown in but the kitchen sink, but it's not a bad song. Would have been interesting to hear what adding some vocals would do to this.

Some screaming guitars.

It's not very often you hear a song where you can make out 3 guitars all at high volume, well balanced and rockin'. A higher volume Snare drum would help separate them just a bit better for that needed added touch of Rockin' like crazy. But the song moves well, to follow it down that trail of an adventurous rockin' groove.

First thing I think when I hear this is very reminiscent of satriani very accomplished scoop picking but does have serious groove and melody. My on,y gripe is the production is very tinny, there’s hardly any twang or recogniseable bass frequencies?
