Rockin' Song
If you ever liked Judas Priest, you will really like Mike Masser's "Take A Chance On Me". The only thing that I would change on the song is the vocals. They could be a little more out front or louder. The driving guitars and beat are easy to follow and the vocals are strong, (just too quiet). I was hoping for a little more from the guitar solo, but that's personal preference from a guitar player. Overall, it is a rockin' song and it would be a good single for an album.

More Metallica Than Abba.
I noted the tune has the same title as a hit by the Europop 70s hitmakers Abba. Well if you thought this would a remake of some light Europop tune - ah no. This is a slow driving tune very much in a Metallica vein. It has that dark minor key distorted guitar. I would indeed be surprised if the artist claimed they never listened to Metallica and the tune just randomly sounds the way it does. In my casual listen the vocalist sounded a little like David Lee Roth in timbre. The tune rocked. If you like Metallica or music in that vein check out Mike Masser’s tune “Take A Chance On Me”. Nice job.

Take A Chance On Me
Right off the bat I was thinking this is a pretty cool Rob Zombie type vocal. Then listening it to it a little more I hear Paul Stanley. Now don't think I'm saying you sound exactly like either one of those two guys but it sounds enough like it to give the listener a reason to keep listening so it's not a bad thing. It's catchy, it sounds like a cool tune but it lacks a great mix. That's pretty much the only thing I can say about it having anything negative. I think the guitar solo isn't overplayed or insane it's solid, it's tasteful. I think the vocals are solid..... So yeah, the only thing that could make this song better is a better mix. I know it's a big cost to go into a professional studio to get a professional mix so.... My best advice is keep doing what you are doing and the more you do it the better it will be. Right now you are solid, catchy, and well rounded musically. I think your really good at what you do, keep it up and I'll be listening

Nice song-I like the intro from the drums into the vocals.the singer has a Paul Stanley from Kiss voice and a hint of Alice cooper.the song is a rock/alternative piece that has good musicianship and well engineered and produced. I like the hook and the cool guitar riffs happening throughout this tune.also forgot to mention the rhythm section is nicely keeping it together all in all good track.

Bada**!
I really like this song, it's catchy and a good listen. I left my genre to explore other genres and glad I did. This song deserves special attention imo. As I write this, I'm on my second listen and will be sharing as well. ????

Heavy, in a good way
thoroughly enjoyable Kiss Styled heavy rock/metal construction to be sure. Nicely layered guitar tracks with a straight ahead Drum and Bass line lay the foundation for a vocal that is very VERY reminiscent of Paul Stanley. A cool hook with a nice little twist gives you something a bit different, just enough to make you take notice without detracting from the piece, and a nice long note solo. Maybe the solo guitar could have been a bit more prominent in the mix, but overall this is a well written and performed piece. Great Job.

Great Groove.
Just what the Doctor ordered. Get off your ass and get it on and with it. You don't have to worry about understanding the words so closely, the groove hold you tight and doesn't let go. Great drum and guitar sound. I love the simplicity as it makes for a great ride through the whole song. Very enjoyable. Great work. Keep it up and keep Rockin'.

You Win!
One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song when I saw the descriptors for Rock, Southern Rock and Hard Rock - I just wanted to roll my eyes and go NOT ANOTHER ONE! But I am jammin' on this rockin' tune. Completely on point with vocals, the story, the music, the production, the mixing and man, I want to record songs like this. Yeah, baby. This is the real deal. This could even be an intro song for a WWE Superstar! I'm now a big fan Mike! Excellent work ! ! ! A rare 5*!

Reveiw of Mike Masser song Take a Chance on Me
I have been playing and listening to rock and blues music since the late 60's. I like this song. It combines all the elements of entertaining music. Good solid beat, nice riff, good vocals and good production and engineering. Reminds me of alot of 80's music. That is a good thing to me.

solid old school...
It has a good old School feel to it and a good solid Melody.. a lot of times when you listen to music it seems like most music has a stolid Rhythm & Rye and a lot of times the more times you change direction the more you're able to really push a song 2 amazing places take the way that Lady Gaga rights and it's almost like she writes one song connected to another song connect to do another song but then turns it in the only one song when it changes Direction it brings a different feeling of interest to the song I've always changed my music quite a lot because my songs are very long because they're always for videos keep up the good work and always feel free to borrow from other types of music to create a more rounded sound..
