I'm working a Duo now called "Mike & Mike in the Evening".
Tonight Jose Laso, Mike Loughton and I will be playing at Holy Smoke BBQ of Georgia in Valdosta,Ga from 6 - 10 this evening.
I'll be with the Mainstream Band GA in October 6 &7th @ Harry A's on St. George Island, Fl and in Gulf Shores, Al @ The National Shrimp Festival on Oct 13th.
Thanks to all the new Subscribers and those of you who have been following me for awhile.
Go out and support your local music scene, remember your national acts were all local artist at one time.

Hi Everyone, I've had people asking about new music on the way.
I've just uploaded a rough mix of the single I'm working on.
Had some friends come in and do what they do, I do think they did a great job on their parts.
Me on the other hand, I'm thinking I can add a better lead guitar line, happy with my other guitar work on it.
You've been asking, so let me know what you think.
I'd kind of like to hear the piano more. Like I said it's a rough mix.

Welcome and thanks for the interest that has been shown for my music and the CD.
I don't have a web site at this time and haven't figured out how to sell the T-Shirts and Button's, I saw where you could add merch, if anyone knows how this can be done without a web page, send me an email.
I do love hearing from you and I try to be prompt in answering each and every email. Hopefully I can answer the question being asked.
I do have some upcoming gigs that I'm excited about.
July 1st I'll be playing lead guitar with Mainstream Band Ga @ Hurricane Grill in Tallahassee, FL from 6-10. Family friendly and always a great time playing there.
I had some solo shows on the books, but now it look's like it's going to be a duo. So look out for that.
Mike Louthan will be joining me and will be playing a Cajon Drum Kit. Mike came out and played a Cajon and it sounded great. So a duo is born.
What do you think of "Mike & Mike in the Evening" as our duo name? A take off the sports show.

Good Times @ Goodtimes Marina in Steinhattchee, FL

Steinhattchee was hopping, 3 days of Red Snapper fishing season. The annual Charity event was going on.
I was playing guitar with Mainstream @ Who Dat's Grill in the Goodtimes Marina.
Saw some old friends Clay and his wife Kelly, David. My daughter Colleen went with me
We had a large crowd and they were having fun.
I stopped by a few of the other places in town and dropped off some Biz Cards, places more suited for Acoustic shows.
I'm trying to move forward and do more Acoustic gigs and promote my music and get back to writing and relearning my back catalog.
I see exciting times on the horizon and hope your with me every step of the way.

I am sorry to have heard of the tragedy again in the UK, my heart goes out to them for these senseless acts.

I'll keep you posted on what's going on.

With so many of you from all around the globe, just support your musicians local to your part of the world and I hope to see you on the road somewhere.

Hi, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and that you have a great New Year.
I've been rehearsing with a group called Time Machine, doing classics.
I've been asked to join several groups in the South Georgia area, yes there are 3 GA's, north, middle and south.
I'll be rehearsing with the band Blackwater this New Years eve.
Thanks for all the messages that have been sent, I will answer them all. I don't get on the computer as mush now days.
I did go to Emory St. Joseph in Atlanta for a follow up visit, looks like I'm on my way to being cancer free and will continue the treatments I'm doing every 3 months.
Things are looking good.
Had Dennis Shannon in the studio laying some Drum tracks down for my new single, still working on the other parts. Got the drums, vocals and half of the guitars down looking to do keys, strings, etc when everybody is done with the holidays.

Hello to each of you.
I want to thank you for showing interest in the music I write and/or co-write.
It means a great deal to know that as an Artist, I have so many people that are willing to listen to and hopefully enjoy the music I perform.
My gigging schedule has slowed down a bit right now.
I plan to use this time to write, record, as well as putting new promo material together.
I have been approached about giving guitar and mandolin lessons.
I have secured a location to start giving lessons. I will be offering Guitar lessons, I do not feel I am a strong enough Mandolin player at this time to be instructing anyone.

I hope this day finds you being uplifted, stay positive and focused.

Howdy, I hope everyone is doing great.
I'm going to do some full band recordings of my acoustic demo's. That's one thing keeping me busy.
Got together with a friend and worked on some tunes for a duo.
I'm also getting things setup to start giving Guitar, Mandolin and Ukulele lessons.
I've finished my Radiation treatments and looks like I might just be Cancer free.
I'm truly blessed, last year at this time I was diagnosed with advanced Prostate Cancer and it had spread to the bones and was told that both were incurable.
I can tell you a different story today.
