October 19, 1987 Plattsburgh NY had no idea that a future star was born. Erika Fuller was just 4 years old when she began to sing and amazed people with her angelic voice as she sang "Dont Tell My Heart" at her mom's client's Christmas party. It wasn't until she was 14 when she sang "Hero" for her best friend Rebecca Ann who had passed away that year, which was there favorite song. Thats when Erika realized music was a way to share her feelings and express what she felt in her heart. Erika grew up in Keeseville, NY until she was 14 and then moved to Florida for 6 months due to family issues. For the next 8 years Erika moved from Alaska to Elizabethtown, NY. In 2011 she moved to Utica, NY and hasn't left since. Erika quotes, "Mariah Carey was my inspiration growing up, I loved every single song she ever sang and would for hours sing and record herself on my boom box to escape problems and life." Country music was also a huge part of Erika's music bases, but learned it's not the genre of music she loves. It's not the performer, it’s the song and lyrics that have an impact on her and her life. If for the song “Hero” by Mariah Carey Erika says she's not sure she would be here today! That’s how powerful lyrics to a song can be on one person’s life and someday hopes to be able to give that back!
