Song Reviews
Love Mr. Mac's "L.O.V.E." Swings and makes me feel like dancing!
Very tight, and swinging band!!! Can't get any better than this! Fabulous arrangement, and love the warm, engaging voice of Mr. Mac! You can't help but tap your toe, and move your body! Makes me want to dance, and I just can't stop smiling! Not easy to get an arrangement with a Big Band, that really compliments the singer! This song is so well mixed, and balanced...it's in perfect harmony. The vocals are pitch perfect, warm, and light hearted in tone. Love it!

Love Your style
Mister Mac, I absolutely loved your remake of L.O.V.E. Your style of jazz and big band took me back to the Frank Sinatra days! Keep blessing your fans!

Coinvolgente e rotonda voce

croon away
Mister Mac, you nail the feel of this classic. Nice buildup as the song progresses. This is a very hard tune to pull off but pull it off you do with style. Be careful of pitch at the beginning though. It is harder to sing in tune when you are singing softly. The key changes at the end are spot on when you push your voice a bit. Nicely done. ps Australia is one of the few places I haven't visited. Lets do a gig together.

You bring back “the Good old days”.
Very nice and period perfect arrangement with a couple of interesting modulations. I am familiar with this song and other similar swing and big band music and this song does swing. Congratulations on that. The vocals and innuendos are all fine. However I feel that it could swing just a little more. There is too much control. The “big band music/songs versions” that I know are a little faster and the timing more adlib and spontaneous. That includes a more playful vocal/band interaction and response. This is something that is an essential ingredient in all swing and big band music. I refer here to a musical enthusiasm that in infectious. This has more to do with the conductor or the musical director than the arrangement itself. Some of the techniques used includes more exaggerated syncopations, flamboyant accents and a “cavalier and carefree” attitude that adds the excitement, spontaneity and a fun element to the music (it must be fun). I think the key word here is attitude (not written notes or arrangements). This can be done with the same arrangement (the basic arrangement must be “good”) - Remember I said at the beginning that the arrangement was perfect. Good job Mister Mac. I love the music of the period and you bring back “the good old days”. Thank you very much.

L.O.V.E Review
Hi Mister Mac, I don't know if you made the music too. On the music nothing to say, it's very clean. I love your chaley's game. So my review will be only on the vocal performance. First it's very difficult to pass behind "THE VOICE". I find the voice tense at some place. This affects the musicality of your voice. But honestly maybe I am wrong cause I hear Franck and Franck is GOD. I listened the other tracks of your page, and "I've got under my skin" is better singing. Musically, it's perfect and vocally, there is more soul. For L.O.V.E is a good cover. I wish you a good continuation. Good luck
