Antoine began learning the whistle at the age of 13, before honing his skills during the Irish sessions in Rennes, where he spent nearly 15 years. He spent his evenings wandering from pub to pub, playing and sessioning with the cream of young Dublin musicians.
At the age of 21, Antoine joined the Centre de Formation des Musiciens Intervenants (CFMI), where he was able to explore other musical styles such as gypsy jazz, Brazilian choro, classical, Eastern European music, and musette jazz. With this new experience, he launched the Flutalor project, in which he was the sole soloist.
At 24, he was admitted to the conservatory of Rennes and obtained his Diplôme d'Études Musicales (DEM) in the department of traditional music. It was there that he further strengthened his connection with Irish music, which he continued to develop until the creation of the Moher group. Today, he is proud to continue to keep this music alive through his performances and personal projects.
