Ministry Of Ordinary Decay
The M.O.O.D. (Ministry Of Ordinary Decay) was born in Rome on 2012 as an evolution and musical maturation of old friends who reunite after 20 years in the same garage in which they played at school.
The members come from different musical backgrounds, each of which contributes to shape their progressive mood. The major influence comes from Porcupine Tree that turn out to be their most obvious point of contact, so as to encourage them on 2010 to create a Porcupine Tree Tribute: In Absentia
After two years they starts to write and compose its own music.
The result is an hollow sound that envelops - without covering - synthetic English texts dealing with mental deviations as a result or cause of the world around them. Chants of disillusionment alternating moments of rebellion and revenge of your own status, affected by the distorted mind of the subjects the M.O.O.D. portray, sometimes as spectators sometimes as protagonists widening the fuzzy line of their projection over the green background of the common sense of normality.

La musica dei M.O.O.D. è caratterizzata da un suono cupo che avvolge senza coprire sintetici testi in inglese che trattano deviazioni mentali come risultante o causa del mondo in cui viviamo. Nenie di disillusione alternate a momenti di ribellione e di rivalsa del proprio stato, alterato dalla visione distorta della mente dei soggetti che i M.O.O.D. ritraggono e che raccontano a volte da spettatori a volte da protagonisti allargando la linea sfocata della loro proiezione sullo sfondo verde del comune senso di normalità.
